Seasonal Beach

I loved the idea Sara Hicks Stuart used with the deck chairs and a heart for an anniversary card, so wanted to make one for myself. Thanks Sarah for your inspiration.
I used the palm tree designer series paper from the 'Beach Boardwalk' DSP pack.
The deck chairs are from the 'Seasonal Layers' dies.
The heart is from the 'Hearts and Hugs' dies.
The grass (under the chairs) are from the 'Palms' dies.
I used Wink of Stella for the heart to make it shine.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Beautifully Layered

LeeAnn Greff's card was so elegant and stunning... I just knew I had to create one of my own. Thanks LeeAnn for your inspiration! I chose to use the colors that were in Tracy and Dan's wedding gold/red/white. Such a beautiful color combination during the Christmas season! As the wedding invitations back when they got married used snowflakes... I used the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder in the background! I know Tracy will LOVE all the little touches to highlight their wedding 9 years ago!

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Home Season

Working on some cards after a brief hiatus from cardmaking is hard. Thank Goodness for Pinterest! I found a card layout I liked and chose the stamps myself.

I bet you can't tell where I made an 'oops'. It's actually behind the sentiment. I had first stamped it onto the white cardstock.... only to notice the edge of the stamp got transferred to the cardstock too. Bummer! No biggie though.... I just made a label out of the Seasonal Labels dies. It hid the imperfection perfectly!

I added a 'Wink of Stella' to the petals to make them shine.

Stamp Set - Blessings of Home
Ink - Memento, Stampin' Blends (Pale Papaya, Granny Apple Green, So Saffron)
Paper - Pale Papaya, Basic White, True Love DSP, Granny Apple Green

Such a cute card from 'Stampin'Gala which I found on Pinterest!  I wanted to create a card that was similar, but added my own twist to the layout. Thanks Stampin' Gala for your inspiration!

I used the DSP from the 'Plaid Tidings' DSP. The scallop edge is from the 'Seasonal Layers' dies, and the background piece is the 'Evergreen Forest' Embossing Folder.

Thanks for stopping by!

Moments of Color

I saw Jessie Rone's card on Pinterest and kept it within mhy favorites for a long time before I found a stamp set that I could use to make a card that was similar. I found the stamp set in 'Colorful Seasons'. I did have to stamp the branch stamp twice to make it long enough.... as well as, the flower stamp twice.
I used the scallops that went with the coordinating dies - "Seasonal Layers".  The sentiment is from the "Wonderful Moments" stamp set. The background is the "Layered Leaves" embossing folder.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Seasonal Wood

My Dad has just recently made (by hand) 3 Adirondack chairs for his home. So, with that in mind, I found Kathie Durgan's card on pinterest. I figured that I could create something similar.  Thanks Kathie for your inspiration! As you can see... I changed some things to make it my own, but wanted to give credit to Kathie who inspired my card.

I used the color combo of Early Espresso/Dapper Denim/Crushed Curry.

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Sailing High

What a cute card (right) from Priscilla's Papercrafts blog (found on Pinterest)! I just needed to create one of my own using the stamps and papers I had to make it my own.

Now, this card did take many different stamp sets to achieve.
Sailing Home for the ships.... along with the coordinating 'Smooth Sailing' dies.
Colorful Seasons for the drink... along with the coordinating 'Seasonal Layers' dies for the chair.
High Tide for the ocean waves.
Artisan Textures for the grains of sand.
Bonanza Buddies for the sentiment.

I used a sponge roller to layer the background color with Coastal Cabana. Then, with the 'High Tide' stamp.... I first inked my stamp, then stamped off on a scrap piece of paper, then stamped onto the cardstock over the roller layer.

Thanks for dropping by!

Stamp Sets - Sailing Home, High Tide, Colorful Seasons, Bonanza Buddies, Artisan Textures
Ink - Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake, Pineapple Punch, Stampin' Blends (Bermuda Bay, Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green)
Paper - Whisper White, Coastal Cabana, Early Espresso
Accessories - Die-Cut/Emboss Machine, Smooth Sailing dies, Seasonal Layers dies, dimensionals, glue dots

Colorful Tide

I drew inspiration from the card on the right. I found it on Pinterest, but it doesn't link to any website/blog... so I don't know who to give credit to. So, if this is yours - please let me know. Thanks for your post!

I chose to change a few things to make it my own. I die-cut a frame out of scrap paper and laid it over the white cardstock. Then I stamped and sponged the background image. Once complete, I took of the mask of the scrap piece of paper and you have a beautiful frame!

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - High Tide, Picture Perfect Birthday
Ink - Coastal Cabana, Pool Party, Soft Sky, So Saffron, Memento
Paper - Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, Basic Black, Wood Textures DSP

Pictured Seasons

I found this lovely card (on the right) on Pinterest... it was linked to just a photo and not to a person's website, so I cannot credit who this person is! I loved the idea of a softer background stamped image and a darker focal image. As you can see... I made a few changes to make it my own, but the inspiration was all CASED. Thank you!

I paired the sentiment from the 'Picture Perfect Birthday' stamp set with the 'Colorful Seasons' stamp set. For the lighter stamped images, I used Crumb Cake and So Saffron. For the darker images, I used Daffodil Delight and Early Espresso.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Supplies Used:
Stamp sets - Colorful Seasons, Picture Perfect Birthday
Ink - Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, So Saffron

Now, I can't take credit for this lovely creation. I saw Lisa Curcio's card on Pinterest, I had to create one for myself. I changed mine to a 'Get Well' card for my brother-in-law who just had vocal chord surgery.

Colorful Layers

My friend loves the color blue, so I knew I wanted to incorporate her favorite color within this card that I was creating for her birthday. I loved the cheerful colors of the color combo - Daffodil/Bermuda/Calypso too!

I had first stamped the flower image from the Colorful Seasons stamp set. I wasn't happy with the results... so I opted to just use the thinlits flower die from the coordinating thinlits 'Seasonal Layers' to create my flowers.

Thanks for stopping by!

I was again inspired by Natalie Lapakko's cards... this one utilizing the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper along with the Seasonal Layers Thinlits (leaf die-cut).
This card was easily created using a 3x3 inch piece of the Wood Textures DSP, and adhering the leaf die cut on top. The sentiment was from the "Birthday Banners" stamp set.

Seasonal Colors

Ahhh...don't you just love the colors of Autumn! This is my favorite season! I love all those rich colors on the trees. And once they are on the ground.... I love noise of walking through them.

So, I decided to use fall colors for my card here.

I used the 'Wood Textures' DSP (Designer Series Paper) to create both the Adirondack chair and the branch for the flowers with the 'Seasonal Layers' thinlits.

The flowers were stamped with the 'Colorful Seasons' set and cut out using the corresponding thinlits.
