Growing Card

We are very fortunate to have wonderful neighbors in our complex. They're friendly and very giving. One good thing about this COVID crisis is that we have gotten to know more neighbors and visit (socially distant, of course!). As they and we are home more. One of our neighbors made 60 - yes 60 zucchini breads. wow! She offered two to us... what a lovely gesture!  It was delicious too!

So, I knew I had to create a thank-you card for her. She's always doing so much for herself and her family... and now us neighbors.

I paired the Detailed Bands dies with the 'Bloom & Grow' stamp set. It came together quickly. The sentiment is from the 'Here's A Card'.

Thanks for dropping by!

Like Peace

I fell in love with Kylie's layout... and knew I had to find a stamp set that would work with this design. I used a retired hostess set 'I Like You' set. Thanks Kylie for your inspiration!

For the blackberry cardstock I chose, stamp the image around the edges with Versamark and sprinkle white embossing powder over it. Then, with a heat tool.... heat until set. For the white cardstock stamp in blackberry bliss ink and stamp around the sentiment.

The sentiment is from the 'Peaceful Moments' stamp set.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Stamp sets - I Like You, Peaceful Moments

Sending Back

Our littlest niece was diagnosed with torticolis... a condition from birth where her neck muscles are twisted which causes her to tilt her head to one side (and she is unable to turn her head without pain). Similar to a stiff neck, but requires surgery and physical therapy to fix. She is 17 months old. The doctors believe that with the surgery, they can cut the muscle and make it regenerate so that it doesn't cause her pain.

I created this card for her. When I saw the stamp set 'Back on Your Feet' several of the stamps were perfect for members of our family who have had recent surgeries or have had accidents. This giraffe though, with it's knotted up neck.... perfect for our niece!

I used a new In-Color on this card.... Bumblebee.

Thanks for dropping by!
