Lovely Party

With the 'So Much Love' stamp set there can be endless possibilities as to what color combo to choose from. That, to me, was the issue here. I knew I wanted this layout with the 'True Love' DSP from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. So, the color combo I chose was:
Petal Pink/ Calypso Coral/ Old Olive/ Mossy Meadow

I added a 'Wink of Stella' to the flower petal to make them shine.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Graduate Ink

This is a hybrid card. What do I mean by hybrid? Well, part of it is designed with digital software, and part of it is done using traditional stamps, ink and folders.

The focal piece -- with the sentiments and graduation cap are completely done using My Memories Suite digital software. It was then printed on Basic White cardstock. I matted each piece (focal and background in Night of Navy cardstock.

The background piece is embossed using the Layered Leaves folder.

The flowers are from the 'A Touch of Ink' stamp set. There is no coordinating die-cut shape, so I used scissors to cut the images out. The flowers are colored using Stampin' Blends markers (Night of Navy, Seaside Spray and Smoky Slate).  The flowers got an added shine with a touch of 'Wink of Stella' on the petals.

I almost forgot my Brother-in-law's birthday. Not sure how I did that as I tend to look at my physical calendar and my iphone calendar to make sure I got everyone within the month that I'm making cards. So... this is a rushed card, but it turned out so well. I can say that I'm getting better at coloring in images... not perfect yet, but getting there.

You can't see it in this photo, but the background piece, shells and seaweed all have a 'Wink of Stella' on them to make them shine.

Gamer Birthday

My Godson (and nephew) loves his League of Legends and other computer games. If he's not at work, chances are he is in his room with his headset on playing some game. I designed this card within My Memories Suite digital software... using the 'Geektacular' scrapkbooking kit from Mags Graphics (MagsGfx).

After printing my design on Basic White Cardstock, I finished my card by matting and adhering to a card base with a decorative background. The background embossing folder is called 'Stone'.

Succulent Year

Playing with the new 'Simply Succulents' stamp set and it's coordinating 'Potted Succulents' dies. What a cute set... I can already see many variations that I can make with it.

I used the color combo Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive.... and coordinated coloring in the images that way too. Although, using Soft Sea Foam, Mossy Meadow and Granny Apple Green too! I used 'Wink of Stella' on the center succulent to make that one shine.

I used a stylus to make the inner edge to the label. (Once you run the die through the Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine.... do not take it out of the die. Just flip it over and run a stylus around the inner edge of the die to create the pop you see here.)

Thanks for taking a peek!

Stamp Sets - Simply Succulent, Best Year

Ink - Mossy Meadow, Soft Suede, Stampin' Blends (Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Rich Razzelberry, Soft Sea Foam, Bronze, Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green)

Field Party

With the new Sale-A-Bration freebies available.... I knew I had to create a card like Mary Fish's. There are some subtle differences, but the layout and papers are the same. Thanks Mary for your inspiration!

The papers are from the 'Flower and Field' DSP pack. The stamp set is 'Punch Party'. There is a postage stamp punch/die that coordinates well with the stamp I used.... but I do not have that punch/die.

Thanks for taking a look!

Stamp Set - Punch Party

Ink - Memento, Stampin' Blends (Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green)

Paper - Cherry Cobbler, Basic White, Flower & Field DSP

Accessories - Wink of Stella, dimensionals, Bumblebee In Color Ribbon

Elegant Moments

Just purchased the new 'Elegantly Said" stamp set and the coordinating 'Simply Elegant' Designer Series Paper (DSP). When I saw Kay Kalthoff's card on Pinterest.... I saved it! I'm so glad I did, cuz I was struggling to create a sympathy card for a family that lost their precious daughter. She was a friend to me as well, so I wanted to create something elegant. Thanks Kay for your inspiration!

I stamped the scroll image on the corners of the base cardstock.
The focal piece measures 3" x 4.25", and I matted that in Basic Black.
The 'Tasteful Labels' die was run through the Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine, and then I used a stylus around the edge of the die (backside) to create the 'pop' that you see along the edges.

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Stamp Set - Elegantly Said, Peaceful Moments
Ink - Memento
Paper - Basic White, Basic Black, Simply Elegant DSP

Cataract Surgery Card

My Aunt just had cataract surgery on her eyes, and I was trying to find something to make for a card for her online. I saw these words/saying online, but I made the card my own by adding the line after 'cataracts', the red heart and the eyes on the bottom. I hope my Aunt will smile when she sees it! I know she is looking forward to seeing clearly again!

The card was designed within My Memories Suite digital studio.

Font - Arial Black (black)
Embellishments - eyes (free clipart online); line - SU
Stamp Brush Set - heart (red-SU)
Paper - Basic White, Basic Black
