Baptism Cards 2026

 

When I saw this Fun Fold Card, I knew I had to create two for my Godson, Matthew, and my cousin's son, Owen. They are both being Baptized the same weekend (sadly not in the same state, so we are unable to go to both). But such a lovely card for a wonderful occasion. Thanks to whomever made this beauty! I will use this a lot! 

Measurements are as follows:

8-1/2x 5-1/2 white - score at 1-3/8 and 4-1/4

1-1/8 x 5-1/4 white embossed design (I added a mat to this piece to make it stand out of Boho Blue)

1-3/8 x 4-1/4 white

1-1/8 x 4 white embossed design (again, I added a mat to this piece to make it stand out of Boho Blue)

I used the Designer Series Paper of 'Thoughtful Journey' to create a serene feel to the card. 

Measurements are as follows:

1-1/2 x 5-1/4 right inside piece

2x = 2-5/8 x 5-1/4 for both the left inside and the left front

Beautiful Petal

 

I just love this stamp set... small flowers and multiple bunches make for more versatility. Now, with that said... I do wish that the spray floral piece came with a coordinating die-cut shape. Even though I had to fussy cut it... I'm still happy with the results. 

I added a 'Wink of Stella' to the flower petals.

Succulent Greetings

 

I fell in love with Andrea Sargent's card... I knew I had to create one for myself. I changed a few things to make the card my own, but Andrea inspired me with her wonderful creation.

I used the Stampin' Blends colors of Lost Lagoon, Highland Heather and Pool Party to color in the succulents. I added a 'Wink of Stella' to make the succulents shine.

Calming Flowers

 

I wanted to create a patriotic floral card for my Aunt, as she loves her country and that she loves flowers.

I chose the 'Jar of Flowers' stamp set and paired it with the sentiment from 'Calming Camellia' stamp set.

I added a 'Wink of Stella' to the flowers to make them shine. Also the flowers are cut out with scissors as there is no coordinating die set.

The sentiment label, is just cut using a square die to make points.

Layered Feet

 

My Uncle just had foot surgery to remove his toes. When I saw the sloth from the 'Back On Your Feet' stamp set... I knew I could work with it in making him a card. I stamped the image in Memento Ink and placed tape over the "toes" on the sloth. I know I should've taped the back feet instead of the front, but the front was the one who had the bandages. 

I hope the card gives him a bit of a chuckle while he is recovering.

Blessings Flow

 

My friends and family have overwhelmed me with blessings on my recent birthday! What a lucky woman I am! I needed some thank you cards to show how much I appreciate them and all they do for me throughout the year!

I used the stamp set 'Blessings of Home' along with the sentiment from 'Flowing Flowers'. I colored all of them in using my Stampin' Blends markers. I added 'Wink of Stella' to all the flowers. I also added color to the rhinestones to match the cardstock I chose for each.

Sailing Tide

 

I saw a similar card where the oval cut around the lighthouse, so I thought I'd try my hand at it. I die-cut a portion of the oval.... then, with scissors, snipped the rest close to the lighthouse.

I incorporated two different stamp sets together to achieve the sailing scene I wanted. 'High Tide was used with 'Sailing Home'. I colored in the images using Stampin' Blends markers.

Heartfelt Moments

 

It's always hard to create new sympathy cards, but it's especially hard when it's a relative who has lost their unborn baby due to miscarriage. I've designed this card using the 'Wonderful Moments' stamp set (even though it's definitely not a wonderful moment). I used the colors Smoky Slate and Basic White, but to soften the Smoky Slate color.... I stamped first on a scrap piece of paper before stamping onto the Basic White cardstock.

I used the 'Layering Ovals' die to partially cut out the oval, and then used my scissors to cut around the pregnant lady.  I added Wink of Stella to the butterfly to make it shine like the angel he/she is!

My brother's Mother-in-law is celebrating her 80th birthday! Congratulations! When I saw Cathy's card on Pinterest.... the gold foil and colors were perfect for an elegant birthday card.  I changed the card up a bit to make it my own, but I want to thank Cathy for her inspiration. Thanks Cathy!

This is my take on the card showcased in the Stampin' Up! Aug-Dec 2020 Mini Catalog on pg 35. 

As you can see I changed a few things along with adding Basic Black.

For the star in the sentiment, I colored the rhinestones with Bumblebee Stampin' Write marker to give it a more gold color.

I paired the 'Bloom and Grow' stamp set with the sentiment from 'Peaceful Moments' on this card.

I wanted to create a lovely spring card, so chose the colors of Seaside Spray, Calypso Coral, Purple Posy and Sea Foam Green. The darker parts within the big flowers are Balmy Blue. I used the 'Layered Leaves' embossing folder for the background.

Southern Beach

Such a relatively easy card to achieve. I first created the mask with the Layering Ovals die on scrap paper. I placed the mask over the White cardstock and stamped the tree in Memento ink. With sponge daubers, I used Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie to create a sky, and with Soft Suede made the sand below.

Once the mask was removed, I stamped the sentiment in Memento ink.
