Leaves

What a great and simple card to make! I cannot take credit for this creation (at least in the brown/black combination).... I was inspired by Teneale Williams' card found on Pinterest.  Here is her card:

To achieve this lovely creation. I used a clear block (Block D = 2-7/8 x 2-11/16) and stamped that into the ink pad (Crumb Cake of Soft Sky) and stamped that onto the Whisper White cardstock.
I then stamped the leave stamp (Vintage Leaves) with Memento ink directly on top of the stamped image of the square. I added the sentiment (Watercolor Wishes) to the bottom section.

I finished the card by matting them with Basic Black cardstock and then attaching them to their card bases.

Thanks so much for looking!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Vintage Leaves, Watercolor Wishes
Ink - Crumb Cake, Soft Sky, Memento
Paper - Crumb Cake, Soft Sky, Basic Black, Whisper White
Accessories - Clear Block D

Wooden Celebration

Dawn Griffith's card was such a great masculine card.... I just had to create one for myself.  Thanks Dawn for your inspiration!

I created this card for my nephew who is turning 17, so I felt it was a great teenager card.

Meadow Hunting

Happy Father's Day to all the Father's out there! Both my father and father-in-law are not hunters, but I fell in love with this stamp set "In The Meadow", and wanted to use it for their Father's Day cards.

Do you see the tree on the left hand side? Well the stamp IS NOT that tall, but I stamped in a way to create a tall tree... the portion underneath the Botanical Gardens DSP (Designer Series Paper) stops and starts down a bit to achieve this look. I love the effect it has... I hope you do too!

I used an AquaPainter to color in the grass and deer.

The Father's Day stamp is not a Stampin' Up! stamp (gasp!)... I know, I try to use Stampin' Up! whenever I can, but when I don't have a specific stamp that I want to use... I must look elsewhere.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Stamp Sets - In The Meadow, Father's Day Stamp (Non-SU)
Ink - Mossy Meadow, Soft Suede, Memento
Paper - Soft Suede, Whisper White, Basic Black, Botanical Gardens DSP

Graduation Poem

My sister-in-law saw this Poem (words by Rascal Flatts) on Pinterest in a frame with a burlap background.  She wanted me to create something similar with a wood plank background, so that she could have it printed 11x14 and framed to set out on the graduation table for their son (my nephew).

As with the graduation invites... I provided many different wood plank backgrounds.  This one was the one she chose.  Hopefully, I will get another photo of the physical framed piece to show everyone here, as this is just my digital image that I created for her to have printed.

I used My Memories Suite software using many different fonts and a wooden plank background from Country Sunflowers.

Thanks for stopping by for a peek!

Graduation Invitations

When my brother and his wife wanted graduation invitations for their son (my nephew)... I jumped at the chance to design them using my digital software (My Memories Suite).  They sent me his senior photos and I designed around 8 or 9 different (front and back) options to choose from. They loved them - and I was so happy to design them for them. After designing them, they ordered the invitations through the MPix website as they offer many different paper printing options.

Here are the other designs that I created that didn't make the cut:

All are so very amazing in their own right... it was hard for them to choose between them.
I hope to design them for all my nieces and nephews when they graduate.

Thanks for stopping by for a look!

Money Diploma

When I saw Cassandra's card on Pinterest.... what a cute idea to use money as the "1" in the year! Thanks Cassandra for your inspiration!
Now, I chose to use a one dollar bill.... as it says "1" on it, and I aligned it so you can see the one.  I'm sure any denomination would work though. =)

Rose Blossom

Upon seeing Sharon Burkert's card on Pinterest.... I wanted to try something similar with the stamps that I had on hand. While I think mine looks good.... I really like the detail in the flowers/leaves on Sharon's stamp that she used for the background piece better than my own.

I created my cards as a 'Thank You' for all the generous people who donated to PurpleStride2016 5K Walk/Run -- which is supporting the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Every little bit helps those fighting this deathly disease.... I hope they do find a cure for this soon.

Thanks so much for taking a peek!

Stamp sets - Rose Wonder, Bloomin' Love, Lotus Blossom
Ink - Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive
Paper - Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White
Accessories - Big Shot, Banners Framelits, Bloomin' Heart Thinlits, dimensionals, glue dots, Old Olive Taffeta Ribbon

Go Graduate

Graduating from College -- what a great accomplishment! Congratulations to our God-Daughter, Trina! We are so proud of you!

I used Trina's College colors -- umm..whoops! I think her colors are red/white. Oh my...gotta change this. I'll post it when I get it done.

I designed the circle cap and words in my digital software (My Memories) and printed it out on Whisper White cardstock.  I finished the card traditionally.

Okay.... I created another card with the correct colors... here it is:

Supplies Used:
My Memories - Go Graduate Plus digital stamps, font (Lavanderia Regular and June)
Paper - Night of Navy, Whisper White, Neutrals DSP, Real Red
Accessories - White Organdy Ribbon, Navy Satin Ribbon, glue dots, Circles Collection Framelits, dimensionals

Botanical Cards

I fell in love with Debbie Mageed's card that I found on Pinterest, so I just had to create one of my own. If you look closely... I did make a few changes from her card to make it my own. Thanks Debbie for your inspiration!

I used Botanical Gardens DSP for each layer of cardstock (excluding the base)... I also used that same DSP for the center of the flowers.

Ink - Cajun Craze, Memento, Mossy Meadow
