Petal Bouquet

Wow... what a stunning card from Stampin' With Kristi! I just knew I needed to make one for myself... for my brother and his wife on their anniversary. I changed the sentiment to reflect the occasion.
I used a Wink of Stella for the flowers to make them shine.
I used 'True Love' Designer Series Paper for the background piece.

Thanks for stopping in!

Beautiful Petal

I just love this stamp set... small flowers and multiple bunches make for more versatility. Now, with that said... I do wish that the spray floral piece came with a coordinating die-cut shape. Even though I had to fussy cut it... I'm still happy with the results.

I added a 'Wink of Stella' to the flower petals.

Thanks for stopping in!

I liked Chiaki Haverstick's card (found on Pinterest) with the spray going down the side... I just knew I had to create one of my own. I chose Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo as my flower colors.

Peaceful Palette

I saw Amanda Bates' card on Pinterest, so I sought to make one of my own. Thanks Amanda for your inspiration! I used the DSP from 'Magnolia Lane'.

I used the stamp set 'Petal Palette' and it's coordinating 'Petals & More' dies. Although, I did have to fussy cut the smaller portion of roses, as there was no die for that. I added a 'Wink of Stella' to the petals to make them shine.

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Not sure who designed the card on the right. I found it on Pinterest, but the image doesn't go to any particular website. So... if this card is yours.... thanks for your inspiration! I really liked the colors and the layout, so I created one for myself.

Southern Petal

I look for inspiration for my cards on many online websites. Sometimes, I copy the card exactly; sometimes, I only use just the layout; and sometimes, I copy the card, but change a few things to make it my own.

I used the layout of Mary Fish's card as inspiration for mine. Here is her card here:
Thanks Mary! You always create such lovely cards!

On my card I paired the 'Petal Palette' stamp set with the 'Southern Serenade' set. For the background, I used DSP from 'Petal Passion'

Beautiful Petals

I found Debra Burgin's card online and thought it was so different from all the other samples made with the 'Petal Palette' stamp set. I wanted to create something similar, but wanted to make it my own too... so I changed many of the details. Thanks so much for your inspiration Debra!

The floral stamp is a tiny sprig which I stamped 5x in a vertical line. I colored them in with the Stampin' Blends.... I used the lighter versions except for the green (I used both).  The dotted panels on each side of the stamped image is Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon -- which is retired now, but I still have a few yards left.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Petal Palette, Beautiful Bouquet
Ink - Memento, Stampin' Blends (Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry)
Paper - Pineapple Punch, Whisper White
Accessories - scissors, Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon

Palette of Celebration

I totally got the inspiration for my Mother's Day cards from LeeAnn Greff (on the right)! Thanks so much LeeAnn! I obviously changed a few things, but the general design is all LeeAnn. What beautiful cards!

I used my Stampin' Blends to color the flowers: for the leaves on all of them, I used Old Olive (both light and dark). For the blue card - light Pool Party and light Night of Navy; for the purple card - dark Pink Pirouette and dark Rich Razzleberry; for the yellow - light and dark Daffodil Delight; and finally for the orange card - light and dark Calypso Coral.

I used Petal Passion DSP (Designer Series Paper) for the accent behind the floral spray.

Thanks for stopping by!

Stamp Sets - Petal Palette, Something to Celebrate
Ink - Memento, Stampin Blends (Old Olive, Night of Navy, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Pink Pirouette, Rich Razzleberry)

Burger Apron

My nephew had been working at Burger King for several years. He recently acquired a new job as a Teaching Assistant at Cleveland State University.  So... we wanted to congratulate him and thought it would be funny to include a Burger King gift card within the card.

As you can see.... I used the colors of Burger King (and the gift card) to create my card. I used the 'Apron of Love' and 'Petal Palette' stamp sets.

Thanks for dropping by!

Supplies Used:

Petal Bouquet

Have I said that this stamp set (Petal Palette) was my new favorite? Well, it truly is! I've seen a few cards that used the layered technique, so I figured I's play with it myself using this stamp set. WOW! What an impact this has!

To do this technique, cut two pieces of Whisper White cardstock: one 5"x 3.75" and one 3.5" x 2.25. Using a small adhesive on the back of the smaller piece, adhere it the bigger piece (centered). Now, stamp the two floral sprays on each corner... don't worry that it doesn't ink close to the edge of the two pieces (this will be covered up by the black mat you see in the photo). I would suggest coloring your two pieces before you take them apart...this way it'll be easier to see what needs to be colored and what stays white. Now, mat each piece on Basic Black cardstock... and then adhere them together. Piece of Cake!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Petal Palette, Beautiful Bouquet
Ink - Memento, Stampin' Blends (Daffodil Delight, Old Olive)

Waterfront Petal

I believe this is my new favorite stamp set! Although.... full disclosure... there are many stamp sets that I LOVE!!!!! lol! I love roses...as they remind me of my Mom! I miss her so much everyday.

I chose this stamp set for my best friend with a cheerful color palette. I colored in the flowers with the Stampin' Blends. I realize now that I should have moved the flower up a bit, so that it fit in between the decorative thinlit.  The sentiment is from the stamp set 'Waterfront'.

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Petal Palette, Waterfront
Ink - Memento, Stampin' Blends (Old Olive, Calypso Coral, Pumpkin Pie)
Paper - Peekaboo Peach, Whisper White, Basic Black
Accessories - Big Shot, Petals and More Thinlits, Die Brush, Precision Plate, glue dots
