Pictogram Bubbles

When I saw Yoonsun Hur's card (right) on Pinterest, I just knew I had to create one for my nephew.
Now, I didn't have any of those inside bottle cap labels, so I used different stamp sets to get the look I wanted.  Thanks so much Yoonsun for your inspiration!

The 'Be Happy' stamp is from the 'Darling Dots' set.
The '#1' stamp is from the 'Ciao Baby' set.
The Heart is from the 'Pictogram Punches' set
The Star is from the 'Bubble Over' set.

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Ink - Pumpkin Pie, Pineapple Punch, Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape

Kitty Moments

My oldest niece is turning 30 years old!!!! Wow! Such a beautiful young lady. She loves her kitty, so I thought this stamp would be perfect for her.

I decided to add a few flowers to the bottom of the kitty to make it look like he's really in the flower garden. The flowers are dies from the 'Well Written' set.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Artisan Morning

When I saw Cindee Wilkinson's card... I just knew I had to make one for myself (or rather, for my niece's birthday). Thanks Cindee for your inspiration!

Now, when I stamped the sentiment on my card.... it happens... sometimes I get the edge of the stamp on the card too. Picture here:
Now, I could have chosen to get another piece of cardstock and stamped the sentiment again. But, I was creative and decided to cover the oops up with some strategically placed flowers.  See.... doesn't it look like they belong there!
Thanks for dropping by!

Ink - Stampin' Blends (Smoky Slate, Daffodil Delight), Basic Gray
Paper - Smoky Slate, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White

Written Lanes

I really liked Lynn Starzl's card (found on Pinterest), so I thought I'd give it a try.  After trying to work with the Stamparatus for the "hinge stamping" technique... I found that I couldn't use it as the word 'Birthday' is a bigger font than the 'Anniversary' stamp in the set. I still used the Stamparatus, but had to maneuver the paper up and down to get it where I wanted it to be on the paper.  As you can probably see... the word "birthday" are not in line with each other. I tried!

Thanks for taking a peek!
