Leaf Express

I saw similar cards on Pinterest using different colored papers and layouts with the 'Vintage Leaves' stamp set and the 'Woodland Textured' embossing folder together. I loved the combination of the two together.... I just needed to create something with both!

The sentiment is from the 'Express Yourself' stamp set.... and the banner die is from the 'Bunch of Banners' dies.

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Ink - Old Olive, Memento
Paper - Old Olive, Basic Black, Whisper White

Vintage Pair

I wanted to work with the Little Letters Thinlits Dies that I had, so I paired it with "Perfect Pairings" stamp set (ha... did you see what I did there!). I felt that the result was a bit too plain for my card, so I added a "Vintage Leaves" stamp.

I used the Designer Series Paper (DSP) called "It's My Party" and I aligned the letters on the DSP so that all the little arrows were pointing down. It helps when you use the Magnetic Platform in the Big Shot!

Since the stamp within the "Perfect Pairings" stamp set had 'Happy Birthday', I used a marker to only color in 'Birthday'.

Thanks for taking a look!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Vintage Leaves, Perfect Pairings
Ink - Memento
Paper - Delightful Dijon, It's My Party DSP
Accessories - Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Little Letters Thinlits, Leaflets Framelits, White Baker's Twine, glue dots

Vintage Thoughts - CTS137

I thought I would play with this sketch that I saved from August on the CAS(E) This Sketch Blog (CTS137).  You may view the challenge here:

I love the fall and I love my husband... so I incorporated fall leaves in this card for my husband celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary. =)

I had first thought to add the dotted lace trim along the edges of the white.... horror -- NOT a good look for a masculine card! LOL! I'm glad I changed it to be just the Delightful Dijon cardstock. whew!

Thanks so much for taking a look!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Vintage Leaves, Best Thoughts
Ink - Delightful Dijon, Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke
Paper - Always Artichoke, Delightful Dijon, Whisper White
Accessories - Big Shot, Leaflets Framelits, glue dots, scissors

Watercolor Leaves

I wanted to create a masculine card for my father-in-law who had cataract surgery on his eye (yes, he will need his other eye done too).  I believe with the combination of colors and chevron TIEF I nailed it!
It's sometimes hard for me to create masculine cards, but with this card... I had a surprisingly easy go of it.  Maybe it had something to do with the leaves stamp set -- I LOVE leaves.
I achieved the colors on the leaves by coloring them in with markers -- yellow first, then green, orange and finally red.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Ink - Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Early Espresso
