I was thrilled when this stamp set was offered through Stampin' Up! My nephew loves anything roller coasters, so this set is perfect for him. And eventually for his little girl too.... as she loves to do things that Daddy loves! Can't wait to use more of the stamps and dies in this set.

I added a Wink of Stella to the cars on the roller coaster and on the stars on the ticket.

Such a great card made with the 'Trusty Toolbox' DSP from a photo that I found online (Pinterest). Not sure whose card this is... but thank you!  All papers are from the 'Trusty Toolbox' DSP pack. I fussy cut all the tools (even though I do have dies for several of the tools.

I added the sentiment from 'One More Year' stamp set.

When I started out making this card... I had a portrait style in mind. I felt that the sentiment piece worked better in the landscape style... so changed my thinking.

I love the bold coloring of the flowers.... I chose Cajun Craze and Timid Tiger (with Daffodil Delight).

Our Godson is turning 1!!!!! His theme for his birthday is "O-Fish-ally 1" - how cool is that!

I picked out an old stamp set 'Fishy Friends' - oh they are adorable! I'm glad I remembered I had this set! lol (I have so many now... it's hard to keep track!).

I paired this set with the seaweed/ sea grass stamps from 'Friends are Like Seashells' stamp set. And used the Designer Series Paper - Beach Boardwalk DSP.

I chose to design the sentiment myself with My Memories Suite digital software... using the Fonts -  Curlz MT & Cornerstone. The Fishing rod is from MM9 (My Memories 9).

Tropical Shirt

 

My husband wears Hawaiian shirt all summer long. We love Hawaii and anything tropical, so its fitting that I create a birthday card with a Hawaiian shirt on it. I used two retired sets from Stampin' Up! 'Tropical Chic' for the leaves and 'Do The Hula' for the Hawaiian shirt and 'The Right Words' for the sentiment.

The color combo used was Garden Green/Lemon Lolly and Soft Sea Foam
