Amazing Cross

Easter is one of my favorite holidays!
Here is the card that I created for my family... I had to make 16 of these beauties, so yes... I colored each cross and cut each one out before adhering to the card focal piece.

I used the retired 'Crosses of Hope' (cross) and 'Something to Celebrate' (sentiment) stamp sets... along with the 'Amazing You' stamp set (for the rays of sunshine behind the cross).

I used Stampin' Write markers to color in the crosses.

The ribbon is the retired Ruched Sweet Sugarplum ribbon.

Thanks for hopping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Crosses of Hope, Amazing You, Something to Celebrate
Ink - Sweet Sugarplum, Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede
Paper - So Saffron, Sweet Sugarplum, Whisper White
Accessories - scissors, dimensionals, Sweet Sugarplum Ruched Ribbon

Gorgeous Waterfront

I was a little intimidated with this new stamp set 'Waterfront' as it kinda reminds me of Bob Ross the painter.

"In your world, make it however you like, there are no wrong or right ways to do it"

This is certainly true with this stamp set. Use colors you choose for the mountains, hills, water and ground and place them where ever you like.

I really like how this turned out, so I hope to create more scenes with this stamp set in the future. Stay tuned!

Thanks for dropping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Waterfront, Happy Birthday Gorgeous
Ink - Soft Sky, Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, So Saffron, Always Artichoke, Soft Suede
Paper - Soft Suede, Whisper White, Painted Harvest DSP

Triceratops Birthday

Again, I created a card utilizing my digital software (My Memories Suite). My sister LOVES triceratops, so when I found this digital image.... I just knew I had to incorporate this into a birthday card for her.

I added the grass, balloons and sentiment to finish off this piece, then printed it on Whisper White cardstock. Once printed... I matted it on So Saffron cardstock and then on Old Olive.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
My Memories Suite digital software
Embellishments - DinoMini Sampler (Ostrea); Bring on the Balloons (MyMem); Candyland Grass (MyMem)
Stamp Brush Set - Piece of Cake (sentiment - SU)
Paper - Old Olive, So Saffron, Whisper White

Spring Serenade

Back to creating some new cards with the amazing new stamps that I purchased from Stampin' Up! This set is called 'Southern Serenade'  and can be found in the 2018 Occasions Catalog (selling period Jan 3 to May 31).

It's such a great set to work with... and I love it when I can just utilize just one stamp set in a card.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Southern Serenade
Ink - Fresh Fig, Daffodil Delight, Stamp Blends Markers (Daffodil Delight, Old Olive)
Paper - Fresh Fig, Daffodil Delight

Heartfelt Leaves

Needed a quick Sympathy card. I do have a few on hand, but needed a different design as the recipient already received that other design. Sad to see/hear more death in the family too.

I paired the "Heartfelt Sympathy" with my retired "Window" framelits.... I think it frames the sentiment well.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Heartfelt Sympathy
Ink - Smoky Slate
Paper - Smoky Slate, Whisper White

Volleyball Birthday

I created this cute card on my digital software (My Memories Suite). My niece is on a volleyball league and thought I'd incorporate her sport on her birthday card this year.
The image was a masculine figure, so I thought to create a ponytail with an image I had to make the figure more feminine. Well, I didn't have an image that I could change to black.... so I created a ponytail of my own. The way I did this was using a crescent shape... I used several crescent shapes to create the look I wanted. Just rotating the shape to match the top tip of the first crescent. I did alter the size of some so that it looked like real hair. Cool - huh!

I used a grid image from my software, but added a thick line to the top and bottom to create the 'Net' effect.

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Supplies Used:
My Memories Suite digital software
Embellishment -  Sports (volleyball player -mymem)
Stamp Brush Set - Love Story (grid - SU); A little Bit of Cheer (sentiment - SU)
Paper - Real Red, Night of Navy, Whisper White
Punch - Crescent Shape, Line Shape
