Blossoming Wings

This is the first time working with the Watercolor Wings stamp set.  Gee... I have a lot of stamp sets that need to be used! LOL! The butterly's colors are Soft Sky, Wisteria Wonder and Night of Navy... lovely combination! The stamp set is a 1-2-3 step stamps that build the butterfly as you work with the stamps.  Pretty cool!

This card was designed for my niece. She used to love pink... now she is more like her Mom where she loves blues and purples.

Thanks for looking!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Watercolor Wings, Birthday Blossoms
Ink - Night of Navy, Wisteria Wonder, Soft Sky
Paper - Soft Sky, Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White
Accessories - Brick Wall TIEF, Big Shot, Bold Butterflies Framelits, glue dots

Tin Butterfly

This is my first time playing with the Butterflies Thinlets from Stampin' Up! Wow...so many intricate little holes!  And... to try to paper-piece this beauty together... I'm glad I had the fine-tip glue pen to adhere the little pieces within the wings.  If you look close, I did cheat a little -- the black is the background piece that I adhered the white cardstock to, so I didn't have to add the black pieces to the butterfly wings.

I added the antenna from the Watercolor Wings stamp set.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Tin of Cards, Watercolor Wings
Ink - Memento
Paper - So Saffron, Crushed Curry, Basic Black, Whisper White

Christmas 2015

Yay! The final page is complete for our 2015 scrapbook! I feel like I've accomplished a lot! LOL!
I guess I'm kinda grateful that we didn't do anything from our trip to Hawaii in October to Christmas in December! LOL!  Less to scrapbook!

This page was really easy to put together. 1) background paper (Green with white dots); 2) the stamp of snow overlay in the background; then 3) the snowman cluster.... and finished off with my photos. Oh, I also added the words "Christmas 2015" to the snowman.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Supplies
Background - Christmas Snow (Green)
Embellishment - Holiday Hustle (snow overlay); Christmas Cluster (snowman cluster)

Big Island Hawaii

Continuing work on our 2015 photobook with our trip to the Big Island of Hawaii in October 2015. We always have such a fun time when we go to Hawaii.... and this trip was no different.  We try to go back each year on our anniversary -- and we celebrated 13 years of marriage this year!

On this trip we did many things offered at the hotel... like taking hula classes and lei-making classes. But, we also took a Mauna Kea (14,000 ft) sunset and stargazing tour!  HIGHLY recommend this -- so very beautiful!

We had a lot of fun... as we always do.

Thanks for looking at my scrapbook pages!
