Just Pictogram Dreams

I needed to create some notecards, but didn't want them all to be the same. (I was sending a note to a few of my family members.) The message was the same... yet I wanted the card to be a little special -- just for them.  So, I decided on making the same card... yet change the focus color on each.  I LOVE how they all turned out. Now, I wish I made a few more... just for me to have! lol

Silver Falls

Continuing work on our 2015 photobook with our road trip with my brother to Silver Falls State Park where we hiked to see 4 of the 10 waterfalls in the park.  We do plan on going back to hike the rest of the trails to view the other waterfalls soon.

I had created a calendar page of one of these falls, and wanted to follow with that color scheme with these two pages.  I also wanted to include the map that shows where we hiked to see each of the falls. It's kinda neat to have a reference point to see how far we needed to hike to see each waterfall and where they are in relation to the others.  The photos around the center map are placed where we saw each waterfall too.

Thanks for dropping by!

Background - Gumball Green

I found this cute layout on Pinterest, and wanted to use it on my 2-page spread here.  Unfortunately, I cannot give credit to the designer who created her 2page spread, as the website is no longer active. BUT... you can see it here:
Thank you for your inspiration!

These pages may look familiar to some, as I did create a calendar 12x12 page of a few of these photos.  I did change some papers and embellishments (and, of course, the layout), but I really liked the effect with the huge helm in the background of the paper.

Continuing work on our 2015 photo book with my birthday celebration (my 44th - whoo!) back in March 2015. We tried the 'Nothing Bundt Cakes' bakery for the first time... and they were delicious! Although I have moved several times throughout the years... I've never liked packing and moving. This time we hired someone else to do all the heavy lifting and moving of our belongings! I just needed to tell them where to place it in our new apartment.

As it is August 2015 now.... we've had time to explore and get settled into our new neighborhood.

Hynes Family Reunion

Started work on our 2015 photobook.  Yes, I know... it's been a while since I did any work on this project.  It seems like when my software (My Digital Studio) was no longer being supported by Stampin' Up!, I was at a loss as to which direction I needed to go.

I did choose to get the My Memories Suite digital software program (version 6), since it works very closely like the other program.  I am still trying to figure out how things work, and get a little frustrated when I can't do something that I used to accomplish in the other program.  BUT... I am satisfied with the My Memories Suite... and will probably utilize this software from now on.  (With the launch of Windows 10... I'm sure my other program may not work).

So... on to my pages.  Okay, so I decided to scrapbook our Hynes Family Reunion that happened in July 2015.  I will complete the pages for the photos from Jan through Jun, I promise!

I used a layout that I found on Pinterest.  Here it is:

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Background - Flower Doodle
Font - Franciscan (Green)
