Baptism Cards 2026

 

When I saw this Fun Fold Card, I knew I had to create two for my Godson, Matthew, and my cousin's son, Owen. They are both being Baptized the same weekend (sadly not in the same state, so we are unable to go to both). But such a lovely card for a wonderful occasion. Thanks to whomever made this beauty! I will use this a lot! 

Measurements are as follows:

8-1/2x 5-1/2 white - score at 1-3/8 and 4-1/4

1-1/8 x 5-1/4 white embossed design (I added a mat to this piece to make it stand out of Boho Blue)

1-3/8 x 4-1/4 white

1-1/8 x 4 white embossed design (again, I added a mat to this piece to make it stand out of Boho Blue)

I used the Designer Series Paper of 'Thoughtful Journey' to create a serene feel to the card. 

Measurements are as follows:

1-1/2 x 5-1/4 right inside piece

2x = 2-5/8 x 5-1/4 for both the left inside and the left front

I loved this card from Holly Roeder and needed one of my own. Changed some colors to reflect the person I wanted to give it to. I also embossed the background piece to give it more texture.

Such a lovely suite set the 'Thoughtful Wishes' is! I got it primarily for the 'Thoughtful Journey' DSP and the dies, yet got the stamp set too... as it went with the set! I decided to try to make a card using the stamp sets. I paired it with the sentiment from the 'Layers of Beauty'.

Now, I did change up a few things to make the card my own. I didn't like the look of plain black buds or plain yellow buds, but the layered buds of black and then yellow really make this card pop. Also, I added 'Wink of Stella' to the flowers and buds to make them shine.

For my niece and her husband on their 4th wedding anniversary. Congratulations! May you be blessed with many more years together!

I love the 'Forever Fern' stamp set and its coordinating dies 'Forever Flourishing'.

The color combo I used was Moody Mauve, Misty Moonlight and Smoky Slate.

I used a stylus to run it on the back of the dies (while the paper was still in the dies), to make them more defined. I also added 'A Wink of Stella' to the buds to make them shine.

Tasteful Bouquet

 

Wow! First time using the Brushed Bouquet dies and the look is amazing! Now, I didn't use the coordinating stamp set with it, but I know when I do, I will love the results too!

The dies cut and emboss at the same time! Now, I did run it through twice just to make sure the embossing was very clear in the flowers and leaves I die-cut out.

With the sentiment piece, I used the stamp set 'Beautiful Bouquet' and the 'Tasteful Labels' dies. I did die-cut the shape smaller to fit the sentiment better.

My niece is turning 16! Sweet 16... and growing up so fast! I wanted a feminine look, but also an elegant touch. I paired it with the 'Go To Greetings' stamp set for the sentiment and my personal favorite, 'Tasteful Labels' dies.
