Brunswick Grad

It's that time of year again with the students graduating! I have used the sentiment piece before in a different card, but changed the background of the card to make it more special for the person receiving it. Brunswick High School's colors are blue/white... so tried to make sure that was the color scheme.

The focal piece was all designed within My Memories Suite digital software and then printed on Basic White cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by!

Grad Wish

For my nephew that has graduated from Cleveland State University. Congratulations! We are so proud of you!

I used My Memories Suite digital software to create a graduation cap background. Instead of printing layers - one for the background and one for the sentiment. I made a layer in My Memories Suite and printed it out all on one piece of cardstock.

For the ribbon detail, I cut a slit on the line on top and fed the ribbon through the back and adhered it with double-sided sticky tape.

Thanks for looking!

Supplies Used:
My Memories Suite digital software
Embellishments - Grad Party (cap-SU)
Punch - Square (filled w/white)
Font - Christmas Wish Calligraphy and Bernhart (black)

Samantha Graduation

My brother asked me to create graduation invites for his daughter, our niece. He didn't want her photo on the invite, so this is what I created.

I used my digital software, My Memories Suite to create the invites. Then, I printed 2 on an 8.5x11 piece of white cardstock. The invite measures 5x7. I printed 70 invitations.

The fonts used on the card are Chelsey (year), At Last Greeting (class of and name), GeoSlab703 (everything else).

The background is an overlay from Natural Compositions Overlays(SU) and the graduation cap is from Grad Party (SU).

Thanks for dropping by for a closer look!

Supplies Used:
My Memories Suite digital software
fonts: Chelsey, At Last Greeting
Stamp Brush Set - Grad Party (cap - SU); Natural Compositions Overlays (background - SU)
Shape - Square (filled with white)
Paper - Whisper White

Oregon Aquarium

I found this cute layout on Pinterest, and wanted to use it on my 2-page spread here.  Unfortunately, I cannot give credit to the designer who created her 2page spread, as the website is no longer active. BUT... you can see it here:
Thank you for your inspiration!

These pages may look familiar to some, as I did create a calendar 12x12 page of a few of these photos.  I did change some papers and embellishments (and, of course, the layout), but I really liked the effect with the huge helm in the background of the paper.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Background - Sail Away At Sea DSP
Punch - Square (filled w/ Nautical Expedition DSP); Grad Banner (White and Blue)
Stamp Brush Sets - Anchors Away (shark - blue; helm - blue at 20% opacity)
Embellishments - Seaside (starfish); Summer Vacation (starfish blue); Basic Pearls (colored blue)
Font - Steamer (Blue); Bow (White and Blue)

2015 Grad

I saw this cute graduation card (the one on the right) on Pinterest... it's from Pamela Ho.  I wanted to use the colors of my nephew's school -- which are blue/white/black... but I see the photo doesn't really distinguish too well what's black and what's blue.

I designed most of this in My Digital Studio and printed it off on Whisper White cardstock. The caps are from the digital download 'Grad Party' and I cut them out with scissors and added a dimensional to the back to make every other one 'pop' off the card.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Brush Set - Grad Party (caps - Night of Navy and Basic Black)
Font - AtlastGreeting (Night of Navy)
Punch - Square (filled w/ Basic Black for the lines through the date)
Paper - Night of Navy, Basic Black, Whisper White
Accessories - scissors, dimensionals

Sammamish River

I believe this is the first time I didn't create a double-page spread that had coordinating pages! (This page will be next to my previous post.  I hope they won't look too different next to each other when printed.  I only had this one photo taken in July, and wanted to include it in our 2014 photobook.

I was inspired by a layout on the Sweet Shoppe blog, but I believe I changed it way too much to be considered actually using it.  I'll show it here anyway, and you can determine if I did or not. LOL!

If you can imagine it.... I sort of used the bottom layout! =)

Thanks for taking a peek!

Supplies Used:
Background - Very Vanilla Textured Cardstock
Embellishments - Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon (Cherry Cobbler cropped); Glimmer Kit (frame, scallop trim, dot trim, heart)
Stamp Brush Sets - Vintage Overlays #8 (Basic Black)
Punches - Square (filled w/Cherry Cobbler, Grad Party #7, Blueberry Crisp #1)
Font - Lavanderia and Informal (Very Vanilla)
