Paradise Blessing

The beginning of Autumn and my favorite colors! I just had to create a card using my favorite color combo of green, red, orange and yellow. I hope you like it as much as I do. My niece surly will.

I added a Wink of Stella to the flower petals to make them shine.

I used a stylus to give the shaped piece behind the flowers some more dimension.

The colors didn't really turn out how I'd want them to (I wanted a tropical feel to it).... but this color combo is great too (patriotic). I paired the sentiment from the 'Best Year' stamp set with the flowers from 'Blessings of Home'.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Blessed You

As with Mother's Day (as well as Father's Day), I like to create the same card, but design with colors that correspond with the person I'm giving the card to... to make it special for them. Thus is the case with this Mother's Day card. My Mother-in-law loves the color blue, my second Mom (my best friend's Mom) is more of a spring-y color... so I chose Peach, and my Aunt (and Godmother) I chose purple.

The sentiment is from the 'Celebrating You' stamp set.

The die is from the 'Stitched Nested Labels' dies. I used a stylus on the back of the die to make the die shape pop so it stands out more.

The DSP is from the 2021-2022 In Color and 2020-2021 Soft Subtles (blue)

The flower image is from the 'Blessings of Home' stamp set. It has a coordinating die set called 'Flowers of Home'.

I used 'Wink of Stella' on the petals to make them shine.

I just knew I had to try my hand at creating the card from Stampin' Up! with the 'Blessings of Home' stamp set. I changed the background piece to make it my own.  Thanks for designing great stamps and creating wonderful cards for everyone to enjoy!

Friendly Blessings

I thought I'd try my hand at making a similar card to Chris Smith's card that I found on Pinterest. Now, I had a bit of trouble centering the die cut shape... so it does hang a bit off the card, but for my first attempt... it's good.

I changed up a few things on my card to make it my own... but wanted to show where I got my inspiration! Thanks Chris!

I added a 'Wink of Stella' to the petals to make them shine.

Thanks for taking a closer look!
