Bloom Together

When I saw Krista Prattin's Artisan Card I just knew I had to create one of my own. I am wondering how she created her background with the stamp though.... mine looks too wide. I chose to use different colors for my card to make it my own.  Thanks Krista for your inspiration!

I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to try and get the background stamping even. The stamp is stamped twice wide and 5x down to create the background piece.

Thanks for taking a look!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Botanical Blooms, Better Together
Ink - Mint Macaron, Blushing Bride
Paper - Whisper White (thick), Whisper White, Blushing Bride, Mint Macaron
Accessories - Botanical Builder Framelits, Big Shot, Basic Pearls, Stamp-a-ma-jig

Cherry Blossoms

When I saw the leaves stamp in the Falling Flowers stamp set... I felt they would work great as branches of a tree. With the addition of the flowers in that same stamp set ----I've turned it into a Cherry Blossom tree!

Cherry Blossoms remind me of the the coming spring and everything being in bloom....as well as thoughts of love. So I felt it perfect for a Valentine's Day card for my hubby!
I love him so very much!

I embossed the leaves in white, as well as the sentiment. I added the blossoms with glue dots.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Falling Flowers, Flourishing Phrases
Ink - Versamark, Pink Pirouette
Paper - Smoky Slate, Whisper White
Accessories - Big Shot, May Flowers Framelits, glue dots, White Emboss Powder, Heat Tool

Paisley Wonder

I wanted to use the supplies I had to create a birthday card for my Aunt. She will be turning 70! I didn't want to showcase her age... but I felt that the Paisley Petals DSP (Designer Series Paper --  retired) fit the occasion.

I cut out a portion of the DSP for the flower on the frame. I used dimensionals to make the flower pop up from the frame.

I paired the DSP with the Rose Wonder stamp 'Happy Birthday' -- It was a great fit.

Thanks for looking!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Rose Wonder
Ink - Marina Mist
Paper - Marina Mist, Whisper White, Paisley Petals DSP
Accessories - scissors, dimensionals

Yearly Banner

The 'Time of Year' stamp set is a great set for masculine cards (in my opinion). Not too mushy with the sentiments and hardly any flowers.

This one is for my brother-in-law.

Thanks for taking a look.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Time of Year
Ink - Memento, Smoky Slate
Paper - Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Botanical Gardens DSP
Accessories - Bunch of Banners Framelits, Big Shot, dimensionals, Smoky Slate Stitched Ribbon

Botanical Scribbles

I saw Sharon Burkert's card on Pinterest, and fell in love with the colors. Now as I did not have the specific background paper that she had... I used DSP from the 'It's My Party' for my card. The sentiment is a stamp from the Birthday Banners set. I just used portions of the stamp to place the 'birthday' underneath the 'happy' (as the stamp is all on one line).

Here is Sharon's card:

Thanks so much for your inspiration!

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Birthday Banners
Ink - Memento
Paper - Real Red, Whisper White, Basic Black, It's My Party DSP
Accessories - Big Shot, Botanical Builder Framelits, Circles Collection Framelits, Swirly Scribbles, Basic Pearls, glue dots

Paisley Birthday

I have to say, using Designer Series Paper makes quick work with creating a lovely card. Here, I used a portion of the Paisley Petals DSP and paired it with the Birthday Blossoms stamp set.

With a touch of ribbon detail....the card is complete!

Thanks for taking a peek!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Birthday Blossoms
Ink - Early Espresso
Paper - Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Paisley Petals DSP

Swirly Thoughts

This thank you card uses the Swirly Bird stamp set, the matching Swirly Scribbles Thinlits, and the Thankful Thoughts stamp set.

The biggest flower swirl I had to cut using scissors, but all the rest of the flowers and leaves have a corresponding thinlit.

Thanks for taking the time for a look!

Ink - Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Memento
Paper - Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler
