Autumn Wedding

 

My neighbor and friend needed an Autumn Wedding card for a wedding she was going to, and couldn't find anything that she loved at the stores. So she asked me... I love making cards... and Fall/Autumn is my favorite season, so I made a few for her to choose from. I know she will have a hard time choosing from these three. They turned out lovely.

I used the 'All About Autumn' DSP (Designer Series Paper) on all of them. Now the paper is 6x6, so I had to get a bit creative to make them to fit on a 5x7 card. I chose to split the paper in half and place a 'belly band' around the center part to conceal it. (Clever- right!)

The sentiment for each is from the 'Beautiful Bouquet'  stamp set.

One has the 'Detailed Bands' dies on it.

Another has the 'Gorgeous Garden' die background piece with 'Autumn Leaves' dies.

And, the last one has the 'Gorgeous Garden' die background piece with the Two-Tone Flora dies.

To add sparkle to the ones with the 'Gorgeous Garden' dies, I added 'Wink of Stella' to both the leaves and flowers.

The one with the Two-Tone Flora stamp set is stamped in Crumb Cake, but stamped off on a scrap piece first before stamping onto the cardstock to get a softer look.

A cute Thank You card for my brother and his wife for hosting Easter again this year. It's a lot of hard work... and with two kids to deal with, plus health issues that are concerning.... I just wanted to share with them our appreciation!

I chose soft colors - Easter colors for my card.

Creating a new Thank You card for my neighbor's daughter for her Christmas gift to us this year. What a truly lovely gesture.

I paired the 'Biggest Wish' sentiment stamp set with the 'Bloom & Grow' stamp set. Makes a beautiful card!

Vibrant Bands

 

I so wanted to utilize the sentiment stamp in the 'Bloom & Grow' stamp set. The flower sprays that came with it were too huge for my card orientation, so I had to find a smaller image. In comes the 'Vibrant Vases' stamp set.... I stamped three on a piece of Basic White, colored them in and fussy cut them with scissors. Perfect for the orientation of my card.

I wanted to use the other band die that came with the 'Detailed Bands' die set... so it made a subtle background. I added a 'Wink of Stella' to the flowers to make them shine.

My Great Aunt is 99 today! What a blessing she is to us! Happy Birthday Aunt Arleen!

I decided to create a card around the stamp set 'Band Together'. I used the coordinating 'Detailed Bands' dies too.

The color combo I chose was Seaside Spray, So Saffron and Soft Sea Foam. I colored in the images using the dark and light shades of the Stampin' Blends markers.

I added a touch of 'Wink of Stella' on the petals of the flowers to make them sparkle just like the ribbon.

As for the flowers, there is a die shape for the full bloom.... I had to use the scissors to cut out the partial bloom.

After such a lovely outpouring of love from my family and friends for my 50th birthday, needed several thank you cards. I decided to create the same layout/design.... just adjust the colors to make them each a bit different. (Darn... I created another one.... just it isn't shown here.)

Bouquet Band

I wanted a simple yet elegant anniversary card for my Dad and his wife. I chose the Cajun Craze DSP for the masculine look and the Detailed Bands for the elegant look. The sentiment is from the 'Beautiful Bouquet' stamp set.

The card looked okay without the ribbon I attached, but wanted to step-it-up a bit to add more elegance with the metallic trim on the ribbon.

Growing Card

We are very fortunate to have wonderful neighbors in our complex. They're friendly and very giving. One good thing about this COVID crisis is that we have gotten to know more neighbors and visit (socially distant, of course!). As they and we are home more. One of our neighbors made 60 - yes 60 zucchini breads. wow! She offered two to us... what a lovely gesture!  It was delicious too!

So, I knew I had to create a thank-you card for her. She's always doing so much for herself and her family... and now us neighbors.

I paired the Detailed Bands dies with the 'Bloom & Grow' stamp set. It came together quickly. The sentiment is from the 'Here's A Card'.

Got the new 'Band Together' stamp set and it's coordinating 'Detailed Bands' from Stampin' Up!. So wanted to play around with them.
