Bloom Together

 

When I saw Krista Prattin's Artisan Card I just knew I had to create one of my own. I am wondering how she created her background with the stamp though.... mine looks too wide. I chose to use different colors for my card to make it my own.  Thanks Krista for your inspiration!

I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to try and get the background stamping even. The stamp is stamped twice wide and 5x down to create the background piece.

I fell in love with Debbie Mageed's card that I found on Pinterest, so I just had to create one of my own. If you look closely... I did make a few changes from her card to make it my own. Thanks Debbie for your inspiration!

I used Botanical Gardens DSP for each layer of cardstock (excluding the base)... I also used that same DSP for the center of the flowers.

The Botanical Builder Framelits are beautiful when layered! I just love this set... that coordinates with the Botanical Blooms stamp set AND the Botanical Gardens DSP.

Birthday Blooms

This card is for my sister-in-law who is turning 30 this year. I chose one of her favorite colors - red and paired it with black and gray -- what a striking combination! I love how it turned out.  I know she will love it too.

Birthday Botanicals

I finally got my Big Shot Die Brush.... and it was so glad I did. The leaf petals and the letters for the word 'Happy' on the dies were so easy to extract when using the brush. Whew!

I don't usually buy the DSP, but decided to give it a try... I'm glad I did!
