Bitty Honeycomb

I tried the new Honeycomb TIEF (Textured Impressions Embossing Folder) from Stampin' Up today (from the Spring 2013 Catalog).

I saw Ann Schach's version with cut-out Christmas DSP (designer series paper) within each honeycomb, and liked that look.  Thanks Ann for your inspiration!

However, when I tried to cut-out the hexagons to fit inside the honeycomb... it didn't turn out so great.  So, I decided to create a mask (out of post-it notes) and with a sponge dauber.... colored in the inside of the honeycomb.

Just had to start playing with some new Stampin' Up goodies today (from the Spring and Sale-a-bration Catalogs 2013). FUN!  Customers will need to wait until Jan 3rd to order from the Spring Catalog and until Jan 22nd for the Sale-a-bration Catalog (but demos can get them now!).

I used the Stampin' Connection Sketch Card Challenge (SCCSC149) for inspiration.
