Snowflake Greetings

Donna Ross' card was the first card I saw that inspired me to make a card for my own. I also did one with silver and navy. I did tweak the design some to make it my own, by not using the ribbon on the burgundy one.... and adding the Metallic Enamel shapes to both of them.

I heat embossed the silver and gold sentiment on each card.

Thanks for dropping by for a closer look!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Many Merry Messages
Ink - Versamark
Paper - Gold and Silver Foil, Night of Navy, Merry Merlot
Accessories - Big Shot, Snowfall Thinlits, Die Brush, Precision Plate, Metallic Enamel Shapes, Silver Taffeta Ribbon, Glue Dots

Merry Deer

Well, I had wanted to color the deer's sweater red, but every time I colored it with markers.... it did not come out right at all. So.... the deer is all one color.

I added a ribbon I found in my scrap drawer, so that is the only item that is non-SU.

I used the Stampin'  Blends light Crumb Cake marker to "ground" the deer.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Merry Patterns
Ink - Soft Suede
Paper - Real Red, Soft Suede, Whisper White
Accessories - Red Ribbon (non-SU)

Stylish Patterns

I paired the 'Merry Patterns' stamp set with the 'Stylish Stripes' embossing folder on this card.

I used the Stamparatus to make sure the red is perfectly aligned within the green outline with the sentiment.

Thanks for taking a closer look.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Merry Patterns
Ink - Real Red, Shaded Spruce
Paper - Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Whisper White
Accessories - Big Shot, Stamparatus, Stylish Stripes TIEF.

Candle Patterns

I was a little leery about using the candles in this stamp set... triple stamping is hard to get them all aligned correctly. BUT.... now that I own the Stamparatus... the alignment is perfect! So, this card came together pretty quickly!

I used ribbon that I found in my scrap drawer... not sure where it came from.

I used the Stampin' Blends marker (in Light Crumb Cake) to "ground" the candles.
Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Merry Patterns
Ink - Memento, Shaded Spruce, Real Red, Crushed Curry, Stampin' Blends (Crumb Cake)
Paper - Shaded Spruce, Real Red, Whisper White
Accessories - Stamparatus, Red Ribbon (Non-SU)

Seasonal Nature

I found a card like this on Pinterest, but there was no ID on it... so I cannot give credit to the person who designed this card.

For my card, I used the 2 evergreen stamps within the 'Rooted In Nature' stamp set to create my forest. Then, I used the "ground" stamp within the 'Season Like Christmas' stamp set to "ground" my forest trees. I used the Real Red marker to make the ornaments on the tree.  I finished the trees by using 'Wink Of Stella' to make the trees sparkle (even though it may be hard to see in this photo).  The sentiment is from the 'Many Merry Messages' stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Season Like Christmas, Rooted In Nature, Many Merry Messages
Ink - Smoky Slate, Real Red
Paper - Smoky Slate, Real Red, Whisper White
Accessories - 3/8" Metallic Ribbon (silver)

Bethlehem

Many blessings to you during this Christmas season. I created this card using the 'Night In Bethlehem' stamp set. It's always a blessing to create a card using only one stamp set, as this one does.

I used the 'Window Frame' Framelits, the Metallic Enamel shapes (star), and the Stampin' Blends (Smoky Slate) to enhance this card.

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Night of Bethlehem
Ink - Memento, Stampin' Blends (Smoky Slate), Crushed Curry, Versamark
Paper - Night of Navy, Whisper White, Crushed Curry
Accessories - Big Shot, Window Frame Framelits, Heat Tool, Gold Emboss Powder, Metallic Enamel Shapes (gold)

Harvest Christmas

With each stamp set I've purchased, it's fun to try and find other uses for the stamps. The 'Painted Harvest' stamp set is one such stamp set. It boast a wonderful sunflower with it's two-step stamping. Now... using those two stamps, I've created a lovely wreath to use for my Christmas card here. It's the stamp set that keeps on giving!

I used the colors Pear Pizzazz and Tranquil Tide for the wreath and Real Red for the berries.

I paired this stamp set with the 'Season Like Christmas' sentiment stamp.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Painted Harvest, Season Like Christmas
Ink - Tranquil Tide, Pear Pizzazz, Real Red, Early Espresso
Paper - Crumb Cake, Real Red, Whisper White, Wood Textures DSP

Snow Is Falling

Found this lovely card on Pinterest from Ange McKay (who, in turn, got inspiration from Julie G.). Thanks so much for your beautiful creations!  I absolutely LOVE the silver with pink! Just Lovely!

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Snow Is Glistening
Ink - Gray Granite
Paper - Powder Pink, Whisper White, Silver Foil
Accessories - Big Shot, Snowfall Thinlits, Die Brush, Precision Plate, glue dots, Pink Pirouette Taffeta Ribbon

Silver Snow

I really liked the layout of Lynn Dunn's card. However, I didn't like the white on white... as you cannot really see the snow swirl or snowflakes on the card. So, I decided to stamp in Smoky Slate and die cut in silver foil.

The background snowfall stamp is small, so I needed to stamp that twice to get across the top. Also the dots stamp was small too.... and I had to stamp that several times for the background.

Thanks for looking!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Snow Is Glistening
Ink - Smoky Slate
Paper - Whisper White, Whisper White (Thick), Silver Foil
Accessories - Big Shot, Snowfall Thinlits, Die Brush, Precision Plate, glue dots

Patterned Snow

I really like how this card came together. I had yet to use the tree stamp on a card. To me, it was intimidating, because it was in the shape of a tree yet it had snowflakes on it. My thinking was that it shouldn't be green... as snow isn't green. Well, I decided to white emboss the tree on green cardstock! But, then the tree looked a bit plain all white. What a cute way to dress it up with the die-cut snowflakes from the 'Snowfall' thinlits (in red and gold).

The sentiment is from the 'Merry Patterns' stamp set.

Thanks for dropping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Snow Is Glistening, Merry Patterns
Ink - Versamark, Early Espresso
Paper - Tranquil Tide, Cherry Cobbler
Accessories - Big Shot, Snowfall Thinlits, Die Brush, Precision Plate, glue dots

Pine Christmas

When I saw Mary Deatherage's card on Pinterest... I just knew I had to create one of my own. I decided to use the 'Christmas Pines' stamp set and coordinating 'Pretty Pines' thinlits, along with the sentiment from 'Season Like Christmas' instead of the stamps/die cuts that she used. I also changed out the ribbon and twine that she used too.

Thanks for taking a peek at my version!

Supplies Used:

Stamp Sets - Christmas Pines, Season Like Christmas
Ink - Memento
Paper - Whisper White (thick), Whisper White, Basic Black, Merry Little Christmas DSP, Soft Suede, Old Olive
Accessories - Big Shot, Die Brush, Precision Plate, Pretty Pines Thinlits, glue dots, twine, Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon

Glimmer Pines

I found a card on Pinterest using white for the pine cone with white on the background... and so, wanted to try that on a card of my own. I paired it with Soft Sea Foam and Silver paper to create a elegant card.

I applied 'Wink of Stella' on the pine cone to make it sparkle (although, you can't really see that in my photo).

Thanks for taking a closer look.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Christmas Pines
Ink - Gray Granite
Paper - Whisper White (thick), Whisper White, Soft Sea Foam, Glimmer Paper Silver
Accessories - Big Shot, Precision Plate, Die Brush, Pretty Pines Thinlits, glue dots, Metallic Ribbon (Silver)

Tree Greetings

Bringing back an "oldie but a goodie" stamp set! The 'Lovely As A Tree" stamp set is one that is beloved by all who stamp with it.

I created these 4 cards with the same layout, but with different colors to use up some of my scrap ribbon that I had small portions of.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Ink - Shaded Spruce, Fresh Fig, Soft Suede, Night of Navy
Paper - Shaded Spruce, Fresh Fig, Soft Suede, Night of Navy, Whisper White, Real Red, Gold and Silver Foil

Natures Bloom

I really liked the layout/design of the card on the right. I found it on Pinterest... without a name to attach it with, so if this is yours.... please let me know. Also, Thanks for your wonderful inspiration! I wanted mine to be more of a winter theme, so chose to keep it white and brown.

Thanks for dropping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Rooted in Nature, Birthday Blooms
Ink - Early Espresso, Crumb Cake
Paper - Whisper White, Whisper White (thick), Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Wood Textures DSP
Accessories - Big Shot, Nature's Roots Framelits

Happy Birthday

When I saw this cute card (on the right)... I just knew I had to create something similar for my brother-in-law's birthday. He plays the keyboard in a band, so I didn't create the piano part on my card.

I found the sheet music for 'Happy Birthday to You!' online, and felt that this was perfect for my birthday card rather than just using any song sheet for the top portion.

The keys were put together using the 'Word Window' punch, and aligned like a keyboard would be.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Supplies Used:
Sheet music for 'Happy Birthday to You'
Paper - Basic Black, Whisper White, Old Olive
Accessories - Word Window Punch, Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon

Gorgeous Tropic

The 'Tropical Chic' stamp set is becoming my favorite set! I wanted a very masculine feel to this card, so I chose to use the colors of Crumb/Black/White. Such a striking combo.

I paired this stamp set with the sentiment from 'Happy Birthday Gorgeous' stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Tropical Chic, Happy Birthday Gorgeous
Ink - Memento
Paper - Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Basic Black
Accessories - Big Shot, Precision Plate, Tropical Thinlits, Black Twine, glue dots

Beautiful Rose

I saw this card on Pinterest from StampinNightOwl's website. I just knew I needed to create one for myself. I used the smaller rose die from the 'Rose Garden' thinlits... as the bigger one would've been too big for the opening I made. I did use the leaves from the bigger die though.... as opposed to the leaf branch that she used.

Since my card is a December birthday card, I chose to use Merry Merlot cardstock and ink.  I used an iridescent ribbon that I found on a package that I received (so I'm not sure where it's from).

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Beautiful Birthday
Ink - Merry Merlot
Paper - Whisper White, Whisper White (thick), Merry Merlot
Accessories - Big Shot, Precision Plate, Die Brush, Rose Garden Thinlits, Iridescent Ribbon

Thanksgiving 2018

I love this layout of a title on it's side with a sentiment along it's length. Thanks H. Brown for your inspiring design (her's is on the right).

I achieved this same layout using my digital software - My Memories Suite. The leaf branch is from My Memories and it's at 40% opacity, so you can still see the words for the sentiment. The fonts used for the title is Regency and for the sentiment - it's Bradley Hand ITC. I printed it out on Very Vanilla cardstock and finished the card the traditional way.

Thanks for taking a closer look AND Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

Supplies Used:
My Memories Suite digital software
Embellishment - MM9 Holidays (MyMem) - Leaf Branch (40% opacity)
Font - Regency and Bradley Hand ITC (brown)

Paper - Very Vanilla, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso
Accessories - Layered Leaves DTIEF, Big Shot, Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon
