Bubbly Brew

The 'Bubble Over' stamp set and coordinating 'Bottles and Bubbles' framelits are perfect for someone turning 21! Although.... you could make soda pop bottles too!

I also tried using the new 'Glitter and Clear Epoxy Shapes' on the tiny bubbles in the corner. CUTE!

I used a stamp from the 'Waterfront' set to "ground" my bottles.

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Bubble Over, Waterfront
Ink - Crumb Cake, Island Indigo, Chocolate Chip

Lets Celebrate

I saw a few cards that had candles made out of DSP (Designer Paper Series) paper along with the 'celebrate' die-cut across those candles, so I thought I'd give it a try with the DSPs that I had. I used the Brights Collection (retired now). I chose to use all the same pattern.... those I saw online used different patterns.

Thanks for taking a look!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Amazing You (let's), Picture Perfect Birthday (flame)
Ink - Memento, Daffodil Delight
Paper - Old Olive, Basic Black, Whisper White, Brights Collection DSP

Apron Adventures

My niece, Samantha, is going through Cosmetology school and I felt that the 'Apron of Love' stamp set was just perfect for her birthday card.

I used the 'Stamparatus' tool to align the scissors in the background just right. Very cool tool if you don't have one.

Not sure if this photo brings out that I used Elegant Eggplant (purple color) for the heart, sentiment and background scissors...as well as the mat for the background piece. Kinda looks black in the photo to me. Sorry!

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Apron of Love, Balloon Adventures
Ink - Elegant Eggplant, Memento
Paper - Gray Granite, Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White, Basic Black, Silver Foil

Perfect Birthday

The 'Picnic for You' stamp set with it's coordinating 'Picnic Basket Builder' framelits provide so many different possibilities to create great cards.  Here's the first one I've created. Although, there are many individual pieces to die-cut... it's so worth the extra time it took to piece this card together. You can change anything to suit your needs!

I've paired this stamp set with the sentiment 'Happy Birthday' from the 'Picture Perfect Birthday' stamp set.

I used Pear Pizzazz for the grass; Merry Merlot for the wine in the glass, as well as, the napkin for the basket; Crumb Cake for the bread; Daffodil Delight for the cheese; Soft Suede for basket; and Chocolate Chip for the wine bottle and glasses.

Thanks so much for taking a closer look.

Supplies Used:
Stamp set - Picnic with You, Picture Perfect Birthday
Ink - Soft Suede, Merry Merlot, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip
Paper - Soft Suede, Crushed Curry, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White
Accessories - scissors, Big Shot, Picnic Basket Builder framelits

Big Reason

Wow! Its sometimes hard for me to come up with a lot of masculine cards all in one month. July is not an easy month for me as I have 9 masculine cards to create and 4 feminine cards. Its a huge birthday month for our family.

While looking at individual stamps within a set... you have to think outside the norm for the use of the set. I used just the leaf stamp within the 'Special Reason' stamp set and only two leaf die-cuts from the 'Stylish Stems' coordinating framelits.

The sentiment is from the 'Big On Birthdays' stamp set.
I am in awe with this card. Its simple yet very sophisticated! Not sure if its the colors I used or the layout, but I'm so happy how it came together.

Thanks for passing by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Special Reason, Big On Birthdays
Ink - Memento, Merry Merlot
Paper - Sahara Sand, Merry Merlot, Basic Black, Whisper White

Sublime Lake

I used several different stamp sets to achieve this card. The frog is from 'You're Sublime', the waterlilies and floral spray are from 'Swan Lake', the water is from 'Waterfront', and the sentiment is from 'Happy Birthday Gorgeous'.

I used a scrap piece of paper to mask the frog so I could position the waterlilies behind him and also to color in the water underneath.

Thanks for taking a look.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - You're Sublime, Swan Lake, Happy Birthday Gorgeous, Waterfront
Ink - Memento, Soft Sky, Stampin' Blends (Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Pool Party)
Paper - Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Whisper White
Accessories - scrap piece of paper for masking

Southern Petal

I look for inspiration for my cards on many online websites. Sometimes, I copy the card exactly; sometimes, I only use just the layout; and sometimes, I copy the card, but change a few things to make it my own.

I used the layout of Mary Fish's card as inspiration for mine. Here is her card here:
Thanks Mary! You always create such lovely cards!

On my card I paired the 'Petal Palette' stamp set with the 'Southern Serenade' set. For the background, I used DSP from 'Petal Passion'

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Stamp Sets - Petal Palette, Southern Serenade
Ink - Memento, Peekaboo Peach, Old Olive
Paper - Whisper White (thick), Whisper White, Basic Black, Petal Passion DSP

Big on Swirls

Such a cute and versatile stamp set! This is the 'Swirly Bird' stamp set... along with the sentiment from 'Big on Birthdays' stamp set.

I chose the colors red, white and blue for two reasons. One my "nephew" loves the Indians and his birthday is in July! What a great color combo to work with!

Thanks for taking a peek!

Stamp Sets - Swirly Bird, Big On Birthdays

Pinewood Banner

I really liked the masculine feel to Christie's Creations card (bottom), so I decided to create one of my own using her general layout!  Thanks Christie!

I die-cut the banners from the 'Bunch of Banners' framelits. You can't see it from the card, but I cut the brown and yellow banners, so that I could a bit longer than the green ones.

Thanks for looking!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Birthday Banners
Ink - Early Espresso
Paper - Garden Green, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Painted Autumn DSP
Accessories - Big Shot, Bunch of Banners Framelits, Pinewood Planks DTIEF

Waterfront Bouquet

I just LOVE this 'Waterfront' stamp set! Such beautiful cards can be created with it! When I saw Jenny Engelke's card (bottom).... I just had to try a sunset one for myself. I changed a few things to make the card my own.

I used a scrap piece of paper... and used the Deco Labels Framelit to create the frame for my sponging.

This card is for my hubby! Happy Birthday Hon! We both LOVE sunsets, so this card is perfect for him! (As he is so perfect for me!). HUGS!

Thanks for taking a peek!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Waterfront, Beautiful Bouquet, Birthday Banners
Ink - Early Espresso, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red
Paper - Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Whisper White
Accessories - scrap piece of paper, sponge daubers, Bouquet Bunch Framelits, Linen Thread, Big Shot, Deco Labels Framelits

Painted Numbers

I wanted to create a card similar to Karen Coulter's (on the right). Such a great layout... and can be used with any numbered birthday and with many different colors too! Thanks Karen for your inspiration!

I suppose I could've made it easier on myself and do what Karen did and just allow the background to come through the die-cut piece. I put the chevron piece behind the die-cut, then matted it with Espresso and put that on top of the horizontal chevron piece in the background. Either way works!

Thanks for dropping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Number of Years
Ink - Early Espresso
Paper - Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Painted Autumn DSP
Accessories - Big Shot, Large Numbers Framelits

Beautiful Petals

I found Debra Burgin's card online and thought it was so different from all the other samples made with the 'Petal Palette' stamp set. I wanted to create something similar, but wanted to make it my own too... so I changed many of the details. Thanks so much for your inspiration Debra!

The floral stamp is a tiny sprig which I stamped 5x in a vertical line. I colored them in with the Stampin' Blends.... I used the lighter versions except for the green (I used both).  The dotted panels on each side of the stamped image is Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon -- which is retired now, but I still have a few yards left.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Petal Palette, Beautiful Bouquet
Ink - Memento, Stampin' Blends (Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry)
Paper - Pineapple Punch, Whisper White
Accessories - scissors, Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon

The sentiment is from the 'Big On Birthdays' stamp set.

Gods Friend

I needed a few sympathy cards, and I just loved the one I created a while ago. I thought I'd change a few things on the card to refresh it and make it similar yet different too.

The focal panel is the same. I used my digital software (My Memories Suite) to print the word 'Sympathy' on it's side. The floral spray is from the Stamp set 'Friends 24/7' (SU)... which I had in my software. The words were taken from a stamp I had 'God's Blessing'... I just typed those words as text to make it more vertical.

After printed that out on Whisper White cardstock, I finished the card in the traditional way. I embossed the background with the Layered Leaves DTIEF (Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder).

Here is a photo of the other card I made a while ago:
As you can see... it's very similar.... I just changed a few things.

Thanks for taking a closer look.
