I'm not really a Halloween person, so I hardly ever pick stamps that have Halloween images in them. However, the 'Have a Hoot' stamp set does have Halloween images, as well as, Christmas images. Heartfelt Paws

When I saw 'Ravengirl''s (from SplitcoastStampers website) card, I knew I had to save it to create one of my own. Well that time has come. My Aunt and Uncle's dog just passed away from a non-cancerous brain tumor. So sad.
I changed a few things to make the card my own, but thanks to 'Ravengirl' I didn't need to brainstorm to create the perfect card on my own!

For this card, I used My Memories Suite digital software to create the sentiment (Chopin font for the "F" and Microsoft Himalaya font for the rest). The pawprint is from 'Campfire Stories' (MagsGfx).
Once printed on Whisper White cardstock, I finished the card the traditional way. I used Basic Black Stampin' Write marker to create the border around each square/rectangle. The hearts were from my Nesting Stitched Hearts dies.

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Font - Chopin and Microsoft Himalaya (black)

Sipping Love

With all my nieces and nephews getting to be around drinking age, I decided to purchase the 'Sip Sip Hooray' stamp set. Now, I'm not a drinker (was when I was younger, but isn't something I want now), and neither are my in-laws. Champagne is usually the gift for anniversaries though, so since I have this set.... I created this lovely card for them. Strawberries and Champagne. They've been married 64 years.... what an accomplishment! Congrats Joan and Joe!

I paired the stamp set with the sentiment from 'So In Love', I really like the font used in it.

Forever Seaside

Sigh.... Coronavirus. It messes with everyone's vacation plans. Mike and I have tried to go to Hawaii every year for our Anniversary. Sadly, due to the virus, we decided not to chance it, and have a Stay-cation instead. We always have fun whereever we go. Here's to many many more years together!

The stamp set used here is 'Seaside View'. It took a while for me to choose which Stampin' Blends colors to use.... so the list is long, but I'm happy with the results and the time it took to get this finished result.

I paired this stamp set with the palm tree from 'Timeless Tropical' and the sentiment from 'Forever Fern' to make it complete.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Better Than Sprinkles

The 'Nothing's Better Than' stamp set is so cute with all it's sayings and images.... I know I'll get many uses from it. For this particular card, I paired it with the sentiment from 'Sprinkles of Life'.

The die-cut shape is from the 'Tasteful Labels' set, and it embosses as well as die-cuts. Now, I know on mine I didn't have it emboss too. But.... the option is there for you to choose. Neat!

My neighbor, who is in a rehab facility, asked me to create a card for "Her Tootsie" (husband) for his birthday. With a nickname like that... It wasn't hard to piece together a card with tootsie rolls on it. I hope she and her husband love it!

I used a free clip art from the internet, and My Memories Suite digital software to design the front. Once printed on cardstock.... I finished it the traditional way.

Here Are Flowers

I saw a card using one of the 'Jar of Flowers' stamps to create a beautiful background piece under the focal piece. So, I chose a different flower stamp (from the one they used), and stamped the background piece. Then using that same stamp, stamped twice on the focal piece of cardstock.  These flowers I colored in using my Stampin' Blends.

I used the sentiment from 'Here's A Card". The top looked a bit plain, so I added a bow (from retired ribbon).

Thanks for taking a peek!

Ink - Memento, Stampin' Blends (Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight)

Forever Thoughts

I wasn't really too interested in obtaining the new 'Forever Fern' stamp set from Stampin' Up!. However, as soon as I was able to see all the wonderful cards created with this set.... I knew I had to purchase it! Since this set comes with a coordinating die-cut 'Forever Flourishing', cards a a cinch to make.

I paired the stamp set (and coordinating dies) with the 'Pinewood Planks' embossing folder and the sentiment from 'Sending You Thoughts'. Oh wait.... I used the 'Tasteful Labels' dies to for the sentiment too. This card came together easily and beautifully!

Sam Grad 2019

Still plugging away on our 2019 photobook! This two-page spread is dedicated for our niece's (Samantha) high school graduation party. I had the privilege of designing the graduation invitations for my brother to send out. Her school colors are orange and black, so I stuck to that theme for her invitations and for this two-page spread. My husband and I helped to print and glue all the photos we had of Sam on her '2019' sign too! We had a fun time!

Ohio Flags of Honor 2019

In June 2019, we were able to see the Ohio Flags of Honor Traveling Memorial at the Strongsville Commons. In previous years, we have seen this traveling memorial before (in different areas in Ohio). The experience is one you won't ever forget. Each flag pole has the name of an Ohio service man or woman who fought and died since 9/11. So many flags.... so many deaths. May we remember their sacrifice always.
