Wonderfall Greetings - FMS113

Such a beautiful simple sketch from the Freshly Made Sketch Blog (FMS113).  The challenge is over now, but still wanted to share with all of you where I got my inspiration from.

I used the Autumn Accents Die to cut out the leaves and then used my stamp-a-ma-jig to get the ink just so on each leaf.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Stamp sets - Wonderfall, Best of Greetings
Paper - More Mustard (retired), Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Naturals Ivory, Crumb Cake
Ink - Early Espresso, Old Olive, Cajun Craze
Accessories - Big Shot, Autumn Accents Die, stamp-a-ma-jig

Best of Gardens - FCC20

The Fusion Card Challenge really intrigued me, so I thought to give it a try.  They provide a photo and a sketch....and you decide to use either one or both in the design of your card.  I chose to do both with my card.  How'd I do?  I LOVE how it came out!  Thanks for the inspiration Fusion!

Owl Love You - SCIC67 & JAI170

Getting inspiration from sketches have helped me 'think outside the box'.  I've created some amazing cards, and I'm so thankful for all the inspiration that is out there online.

I used two challenges to complete this card.

First, is from Stampin' Celebration sketch challenge (SCIC67).  You may view the challenge here:
http://stampincelebrationblog.blogspot.com/2013/06/scic-67-sketch-challenge.html

Second, is from Just Add Ink (JAI170).  They challenged us to use leaves on our projects.  Here is their link: http://just-add-ink.blogspot.com/2013/06/jai-170-just-add-leaves-theme-challenge.html

My niece LOVES owls, so I always try to create a card using them!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Marvelous Thanks

I needed a quick thank you card to go along with a billing info document.  So I used a design that I used (and CASED) a while ago and just made it work on a 4x8.5 size card.

Here's the link to my other card: http://mydianedesigns.blogspot.com/2013/02/marvelous-blooms-leaves.html

Supplies Used:
Stamp set - Bloomin' Marvelous, Best of Greetings

Medallion Greetings - FMS90

Using the Freshly Made Sketch (FMS90), I made this cute wedding card!

I had a bit of trouble embossing the red piece, since the embossing folder went horizontal instead of the way you see here.  The edge of the embossing folder flattened a portion that I had just embossed.  I used a stylus tool (on the back of the piece) to pop the hearts back up.

Thanks for looking!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Daydream Medallions, Best of Greetings, Itty Bitty Banners
Paper - Naturals Ivory, Real Red
Ink - Soft Suede, Real Red
Accessories - Basic Pearls, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Big Shot, Floral Frames Framelits, Adorning Accents TIEF, dimensionals

Butterfly Greetings - FTL244

I created this card for my Mom, and I used the Clean & Simple Sketch (FTL244).  You may view the challenge here: http://cleanandsimplestamping.blogspot.com/2013/06/244.html

I created a mask for the butterfly (on scrap paper), so that I could stamp the flower stamp over the butterfly without going over it with ink.  I think the new ruffled ribbon really adds so much to my card as a frame.
Thanks for taking a peek!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Best of Butterflies, Best of Greetings, Flowering Flourishes
Paper - Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White
Ink - Crisp Cantaloupe, Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding
Accessories - Stretch Ruffled Trim (Pistachio Pudding)
Technique Used - Masking
