Graduation

While we were in Cleveland in June 2016, our nephew graduated from high school. His party was held at the Hinckley Lake Pavilion. We enjoyed great food and fun games with family and friends. Also, 2016 was the year of the cicadas -- they emerge every 17 years to breed and then die after leaving the eggs in the ground. Their song (or noise) can be heard constantly throughout the day/night. Hearing them wasn't so bad...it was actually kinda nice. It was the dead carcasses everywhere that was kinda gross.

Thanks for taking a look!

Virginia trip

Continuing work on our 2013 photobook..... still with our trip to Richmond Virginia.  There's so much to see here! We went to where the "White House" of the Confederacy was, and took a guided tour by one of the descendants of Jefferson Davis.  We also went to the museum which housed many artifacts from the Civil War.  From there, we walked to the State Capitol of Virginia.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Space Center - DGSC089

Continuing with my 2010 scrapbook.....I will get this finished.....eventually! HA!  I would really like to get this finished by the end of the year, but not sure that it's a possibility.... I'm still working on June 2010! I am plugging away though, and My Digital Studio makes it so much easier to design the pages.
In June 2010, we were in Houston, so on one weekend day....we took a drive to the Space Center in Houston.  It was such an amazing place, so fantastic to see all the rockets and artifacts on display.

I used the Splitcoaststampers Digi-Scrap Challenge - Going in Circles DGSC089 for these pages (using circles).

On the design level, I used the overlay (Vintage Overlay #11), and while I was designing it -- it looks a bit different on the page than it does when transported as a .jpg file. It kinda looks more like space in the background now that's it's a .jpg file.  I hope when it's printed it will look like this! =)

Thanks for looking!

Coulon Park

Working on our 2010 scrapbook. It's been difficult getting started with this one...I always seem to have issues with photo placement.  <--- I believe it's because I scrapbook so many photos on a page (my husband takes so many wonderful photos....I need to share them all!!! lol).
These were taken on a cool, but very sunny springlike day in the Northwest.  We had a wonderful time enjoying the park and each other.
Thanks for looking!
