Peaceful Blooms

I saw this color combo (Cherry Cobbler/Pumpkin Pie) for flowers on pinterest, so had to try it out with a floral stamp set that I own. This one is 'Birthday Blooms".  I paired this stamp set with the 'Peaceful Moments' sentiment stamp.

When I saw Connie Collins' card (right), I loved everything about it! So.... I created a card for my own -- tweaking a few details (as you can see from my card on the left). Thanks Connie for your inspiration!

I used Pineapple Punch rather than Daffodil Delight with Gray, so my coloring looks softer.

Smoky Blooms

I decided to use non-traditional colors to color in the stamped image here. When you think of flowers... it's usually green for the leaves and some floral color of yellow, orange, red, purple...and so on.  I've chosen a patriotic theme.... red, blue and grey (or in this case -- Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy and Smoky Slate).  I really like this color combo!

I really liked the layout/design of the card on the right. I found it on Pinterest... without a name to attach it with, so if this is yours.... please let me know. Also, Thanks for your wonderful inspiration! I wanted mine to be more of a winter theme, so chose to keep it white and brown.

I still get a lot of my inspiration from online through Pinterest, Stampin' Connection and Splitcoaststampers websites. This card was no different! The card on the right is from Kylie Page.... beautiful! I changed up a few things to make my own version! Still stunning!

I stamped the floral image 4 times around the edge, and colored it in using my Stampin' Blends.
