Passion Bouquet

My niece, Tori, is a talented artist. She completed this cute little plaque with flowers and posted on her Instagram site. I was inspired by the flowers and the black, so I tried to incorporate those colors in the card I made for her birthday.

Perfect Picture

What a cute set to make cute cards! I made this one for my nephew. I can see many different options with this set too! I'll have to play later on with this set (Picture Perfect Birthday).

I used the colors Lemon Lime Twist and Dapper Denim for a masculine feel. After I stamped the kazoo (is that what you call it).... I cut it out using scissors.

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Palette of Celebration

I totally got the inspiration for my Mother's Day cards from LeeAnn Greff (on the right)! Thanks so much LeeAnn! I obviously changed a few things, but the general design is all LeeAnn. What beautiful cards!

I used my Stampin' Blends to color the flowers: for the leaves on all of them, I used Old Olive (both light and dark). For the blue card - light Pool Party and light Night of Navy; for the purple card - dark Pink Pirouette and dark Rich Razzleberry; for the yellow - light and dark Daffodil Delight; and finally for the orange card - light and dark Calypso Coral.

I used Petal Passion DSP (Designer Series Paper) for the accent behind the floral spray.

Wow! This stamp set is very versatile and goes with so many other sets too! I'm talking about the 'Waterfront' stamp set! Today, I made a cabin in the woods with a river scene. How cool is this set!
I used the ground cover stamp several times - overlapping to cover the white cardstock. I did the same for the river.

Thanks for checking in!

Burger Apron

My nephew had been working at Burger King for several years. He recently acquired a new job as a Teaching Assistant at Cleveland State University.  So... we wanted to congratulate him and thought it would be funny to include a Burger King gift card within the card.

As you can see.... I used the colors of Burger King (and the gift card) to create my card. I used the 'Apron of Love' and 'Petal Palette' stamp sets.

Thanks for dropping by!

Waterfront Lake

I really like how this card came together.  I wanted to use the lily pads and dragonfly stamps from the 'Swan Lake' set and pair it with the "water" stamp from 'Waterfront' set.

I colored the images in with my Stampin' Blends markers. Finally, I finished off the piece with the sentiment from the 'Better Together' set.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Swan Lake, Waterfront, Better Together
Ink - Soft Sky, Soft Suede, Stampin' Blends (Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry, Night of Navy, Bronze)
Paper - Soft Sky, Soft Suede, Whisper White

Petal Bouquet

Have I said that this stamp set (Petal Palette) was my new favorite? Well, it truly is! I've seen a few cards that used the layered technique, so I figured I's play with it myself using this stamp set. WOW! What an impact this has!

To do this technique, cut two pieces of Whisper White cardstock: one 5"x 3.75" and one 3.5" x 2.25. Using a small adhesive on the back of the smaller piece, adhere it the bigger piece (centered). Now, stamp the two floral sprays on each corner... don't worry that it doesn't ink close to the edge of the two pieces (this will be covered up by the black mat you see in the photo). I would suggest coloring your two pieces before you take them apart...this way it'll be easier to see what needs to be colored and what stays white. Now, mat each piece on Basic Black cardstock... and then adhere them together. Piece of Cake!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
