Lovely Bubble

I wanted to bring back a retired stamp set for my nephew's card and chose the 'Bubble Over' Stamp set with its coordinating 'Bottles and Bubbles' dies. Thanks so much for Nicole Schlack's card... I was able to create my own.
I chose the colors Daffodil Delight, Blueberry Bushel, Pumpkin Pie and Granny Apple Green.
The sentiment was cut out with the 'Lovely Arrangements' die set.
I used a stylus to bring out the embossed detail on the caps with stars.

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Bubble Brew

I really liked how Karen Farquhar used the 'Bubble Over' stamp set in her card! I thought it would be a great card for my nephew who just turned 21!
I chose the colors Shaded Spruce and Pecan Pie as they resembled the color of the beer/cooler bottles out today. (I guess I'm wrong, as wine cooler bottle are clear! ha... I guess these are all beer bottles then!)
Gold Foil paper is used for the caps and mat.

Thanks for stopping by!

Timeless Party

At first, I created the card on the right for my brother. I wasn't quite sure the colors were masculine enough, so changed the flower to Pretty Peacock. Much better, but still not something a brother would love to receive. So... decided to give this card to my niece who will be going to Florida in a few weeks.

The background is of my own creation. I mixed Pretty Peacock with Old Olive to have the background leaves have some variations of color. They came out more Garden Green when mixed! HA.... who knew!

I added a 'Wink of Stella' to the flower and the pineapple to give it some sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Tropical Chic, Timeless Tropical, Punch Party
Ink - Pretty Peacock, Old Olive, Mango Melon, Soft Suede
Paper - Whisper White, Soft Suede
Accessories - Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine, Bottles and Bubbles dies, In The Tropics dies, Rectangle Stitches dies, glue dots, Wink of Stella

When I saw Yoonsun Hur's card (right) on Pinterest, I just knew I had to create one for my nephew.

Wonderful Points

I received some beautiful stamps from my neighbor. They are Stampendous brand stamps. Rose Points and Leaf Trio Points pictured here... along with my Stampin' Up products, makes a lovely card for my Aunt.

As this is a December card, I went with non-traditional colors for the flower... I used Stampin' Blends to color the Rose (Pretty Peacock and Pool Party) and the Leaves (Crumb Cake).

I used the Bottles and Bubbles dies to create the banner, along with the 'Wonderful Moments' stamp set for the sentiment (As the stamp is linear -- all in one line --, I stamped it twice to get the sentiment to be stacked as it is here).

Thanks for dropping by!

Supplies Used:

Ink - Memento, Pretty Peacock, Stampin' Blends (Pretty Peacock, Pool Party, Crumb Cake)

Accessories - Die-Cut/Emboss Machine, Bottles and Bubbles dies, Layered Leaves embossing folder, Whisper White Organdy Ribbon

Bubble Well

I found the card on the right through Pinterest on the blog 'Candles In The Garden'. What a cute and colorful card. Now, I'm assuming the card base is bigger than mine (4.25"x5.5") because I used the small die for the bottle and it still went over the edge of my card.

I stamped the black label on each bottle by using a template with the Stamparatus, and just inserting the different colored bottles within the template to stamp the label. Perfect alignment on each! I used a circle die as a guide to make sure the bottles aligned in a circle too.

Thanks so much for taking a closer look!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Bubble Over, Well Said
Ink - Memento
Paper - Melon Mambo, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Pacific Point, Seaside Spray, Gorgeous Grape, Whisper White, Basic Black, Silver Foil

Pinewood Stems

The month of July is always difficult for me to come up with so many different masculine cards... I have 8 family members to create a card for. I want them all to reflect them, as well as, for them to be different in color and layout. Hopefully I've accomplished that so far this month!

With this card, I chose to pair the 'Pinewood' Embossing Folder with the 'Special Reason' stamp set. I decided to change up the frame. Instead of using the frame from the 'Stylish Stems' dies (which coordinates with the 'Special Reason stamp set), I chose to utilize the 'Bottles & Bubbles' dies. I know it's a different use for them, but I believe it works well with my design.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp set - Special Reason
Ink - Early Espresso, Mossy Meadow
Paper - Old Olive, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso
Accessories - Die Cut/Emboss Machine, Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder, Stylish Stems dies, Bottles and Bubbles dies, dimensionals, glue dots, Old Olive taffeta ribbon, Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon

Bubble Crate

For my nephew who is turning 21, I wanted to use the 'Bubble Over' set to create a pack of beer. I found this photo (right) on Pinterest. No name was attached to it, but it was perfect for what I needed! So THANK YOU whoever you are!

Now, I do not own the wooden crate dies, so I created a crate with the 'Wood Textures' DSP. Pretty simple... just 3 horizontal and 2 vertical strips of paper.

The color of the beer was a little harder to achieve. I used Crushed Curry... and the full strength was too dark (I guess it could've represented dark beer, but I was going for the shade that was on the right). I decided to see if I stamped off excess ink on a scrap piece of paper before stamping on Whisper White would work. It did! So, I only inked the bottle not quite close to the top of each bottle -- thus making it look like liquid in the bottles! As you can see, with the bottle that is tilted a bit... I stamped the ink on at an angle too! Attention to detail for sure on this card! HA!

Thanks for stopping by to take a closer look!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Bubble Over
Ink - Crushed Curry, Memento
Paper - Crushed Curry, Basic Black, Whisper White, Wood Textures DSP, Silver Foil
Accessories - Die Cut/Emboss Machine, Bottle and Bubbles Dies, Basic Black Twine

Bubbly Brew

The 'Bubble Over' stamp set and coordinating 'Bottles and Bubbles' framelits are perfect for someone turning 21! Although.... you could make soda pop bottles too!

I also tried using the new 'Glitter and Clear Epoxy Shapes' on the tiny bubbles in the corner. CUTE!

I used a stamp from the 'Waterfront' set to "ground" my bottles.

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Bubble Over, Waterfront
Ink - Crumb Cake, Island Indigo, Chocolate Chip
