Flowering Celebrations

The 'Flowering Blooms' stamp set has 3 floral stamps, and I wanted to focus on the one stamp. I stamped the image several times moving it around the paper to create flowering bushes next to each other. The sentiment is a stamp from the 'Special Celebrations' set.

Using my Stampin' Blends markers, I colored the images in with Cajun Craze, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Flowering Blooms, Special Celebrations
Ink - Memento, Stampin' Blends (Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Old Olive)

Special 70

My neighbors will be celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary!!!! WOW! To be married that long and still be active is an amazing to me!!!! Congratulations Paul and Barb!

Well, as I did their Anniversary Celebration invitations, I chose to use the same color scheme of Platinum/Red/White.

I used the 'Be Mine' dies to create a border under and over the ribbon (there are 4 behind the ribbon). The die-cut hearts are from the same die set. The numbers are from the 'Little Numbers' die set.

The sentiment is from the 'Special Celebrations' stamp set.

I found the Platinum paper (it's glossy from a local craft store.

Artisan Morning

When I saw Cindee Wilkinson's card... I just knew I had to make one for myself (or rather, for my niece's birthday). Thanks Cindee for your inspiration!

Now, when I stamped the sentiment on my card.... it happens... sometimes I get the edge of the stamp on the card too. Picture here:
Now, I could have chosen to get another piece of cardstock and stamped the sentiment again. But, I was creative and decided to cover the oops up with some strategically placed flowers.  See.... doesn't it look like they belong there!

Amazing Celebration

I decided to cut the flower out of the floral stamp within the 'Amazing You' stamp set. As you can see, I cut two flowers out and layered them on top of each other for a a bit of depth to my card. I paired it with the 'Leaf' punch and the 'Petal Passion' DSP.

I love the color combos that have White/Black and then a pop of color! Makes for amazing cards, I think!

Painted Celebrations

When I saw the combination of gray/navy together with this stamp set 'Painted Harvest' , I wanted to create one of my own.

I used Sahara Sand instead of Smoky Slate, as I felt the Slate was too dark to pair with the Navy. Although, with this picture... the Sand looks like it blends in with the background here.... It looks so much better in person (wish I could physically show you the card!).

I used the Flourish thinlits (berry sprig) to add to the pop of color within the flower itself. I cut the flower out using my paper snips... a lot of work, but it really does make the flower pop with the dimensionals behind it.

Thanks for stopping by!
