Fiesta Stone

 

For my Godson who is turning 30! I loved the sentiment in the 'Taco Fiesta' stamp set! I paired the stamp set with the 'Stone' embossing folder to create a cute masculine card!

The images are fussy cut with my scissors.

I added a 'Wink of Stella' to the guacamole to make it shine.

Color combo used - Poppy Parade, Lemon Lime Twist, Daffodil Delight and Basic Black.

Seashell Moment

 

I really liked Priscilla's card (Priscilla's Papercrafts) that I needed one of my own. Although, I did not have the 'By The Bay' DSP (Designer Series Paper), so I created one using the stamps in the 'Friends Are Like Seashells' stamp set. I used the colors - Gray Granite, Crumb Cake, Lost Lagoon and Misty Moonlight. 

After embossing the Misty Moonlight cardstock with the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder, I lightly added White ink with a sponge brayer to get the definition you see on my card. (Thanks for the tip Priscilla!

For the Sand dollar, I added a 'Wink of Stella' to make it shine.

I used a stylus to get more definition to the sentiment piece, as well.

I really like how this turned out, but my initial vision for the card veered greatly from the finished product. LOL! I guess it helps that I had the person to whom this card was for in  my mind while designing it. 

Anyway... colors used are Lemon Lolly, Soft Sea Foam and Fresh Freesia.

I colored the White Organdy ribbon using my Lemon Lolly Stampin' Blends.

I added a 'Wink of Stella' to the flower petals to make them shine.

I just love the simplicity in Julia's card. Just one stamp set and you have everything to create a lovely card. Although I do love the pastel colors (and I may need to create one using the pastel colors for my own), I chose to use Poppy Parade, Azure Afternoon, and Wild Wheat together for this card. My Aunt (who the card is for), is an All-American woman. I felt these colors reflected her patriotism better than a pastel card would.

I added a 'Wink of Stella' to all the petals.

Fathers Day Rollercoaster

 

I wanted to create a card for my Grand Niece, Mia, to give to her Dad. He loves rollercoaster... and I know he will encourage her to love his rollercoasters too. I traced her handprint and cut them out. I found a scene online of the 'Blue Streak' (probably not one of Aaron's favorite rides, but hey.... it's a rollercoaster!).

I attached the scene into the inside opening of the card and placed the hands on the outer portion of the card so... when opened it kinda looks like you're riding down the rollercoaster! Cool!

Irresistible Camellia

 

WOW! Let me just tell you... this card took a while to do, yet is too adorably cute! I decided to try my hand at the 'Pop-up Vase card. There are several tutorials on YouTube out there, so I won't go into detail here. (The Pop-up part is inside the card.)

It took a bit of time to do, as the scoring of the Designer Series Paper kept ripping on me, so I added a reinforced piece on the other side of the 'Vase' part. Also, you definitely need to use heavy-duty double-sided sticky tape (or tear n tape) to attach to the card base. I didn't have any, so tried just Stampin' Seal+ first... only to have to utilize the Tombow liquid glue instead.

I added a Wink of Stella to all the blooms that you see here!

My sister-in-law LOVES Disney, so I knew I had to create a card around Disney. Within my scrapbook supplies I found 3D stickers (EK Success) and I paired it with the sentiment in the 'Happiness Abounds'  stamp set.

The Real Red DSP with the dots really went well with the Minnie sticker too! Bonus!
