The new 'Happiness Abounds' stamp set and it's coordinating dies 'Blossoming Happiness' do not disappoint. There are sentiments along with many different flowers to coordinate with whatever you choose to create.

The background piece die cut was interesting to me, and thought it could be used as a lattice type background.

I just love the Fern 3D embossing folder! It really makes a dramatic background for any card. I paired it with the 'Fond of Autumn' stamp set... to create a fall/winter card. More winter for me as this card is a January card! lol  I used the sentiment from 'Punch Party' stamp set.

For a lovely lady who is like a second Mom to me! She fractured her knee right before Christmas and had to have surgery. Hoping for a speedy recovery for her!

I saw a similar card on Pinterest using Crumb Cake and White and a tag. I thought I'd try my hand at making one with the stamps, dies, embossing folders that I had. Makes for an elegant card, in my opinion.

The sentiment is from the 'Go To Greetings' stamp set.

The background is from the Wintry 3D embossing folder set. (I just ran it through my Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine twice.)

The 'Tag' is from the 'Seasonal Labels' dies. I just punched a hole in the top center to make it look like a tag.

I used Wink of Stella on the snowflakes to make them shine.

LeeAnn Greff's card was so elegant and stunning... I just knew I had to create one of my own. Thanks LeeAnn for your inspiration! I chose to use the colors that were in Tracy and Dan's wedding gold/red/white. Such a beautiful color combination during the Christmas season! As the wedding invitations back when they got married used snowflakes... I used the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder in the background! I know Tracy will LOVE all the little touches to highlight their wedding 9 years ago!

From Genevieve Ko's card... I was inspired to create my own card... making a dramatic color combo for my brother-in-law for his birthday. 

I paired Basic Black with Parakeet Party. The Parakeet Party really stands out on the Black background. I felt the background needed some dimension, so I embossed them with the Fern 3D folder.

Twinkle Birthday

 

When I first purchased the 'Stellar Birthday' and its coordinating 'Give It A Whirl' dies I thought it'd be cute for the little nieces that I have. Wow! After I got this card completed... I thought, you could definitely use the dies for older adults as well with different stamps for the 'boxes'! I'm so happy with this purchase!

Although, it did take time to assemble and find a brad. LOL! It's so worth it in the end though! My little niece will get a kick out of it... cuz she loves the peek-a-boo books. It's perfect!

I used the retired 'Twinkle Twinkle' DSP - as I said before - it's perfect!

I also added a Wink of Stella to all the stars to make them shine.

Veterans' Day 2022

 

Every year I create a card for Veterans' Day card for the people who have given service to this great country! Without them our country would be a lot different and we wouldn't have all the freedoms that we have now. I'm so grateful to them and all who serve this country in times of peace and in times of war.
