Seaside Root


When I saw Christy Velasquez' card (right), I just loved the colors and the simplicity of it -- I had to make one for myself (well, for my Uncle). 

I tend to go dark (rather than light) when I do sponging... and this card reflects my heavy inking on the sponge daubers. I think it turned out very well. Now, on Christy's card, she added a sprinkle of white... I chose not to do this on my card.

Stamp Sets - Rooted In Nature, Seaside Notions
Ink - Rich Razzleberry, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Memento
Paper - Crushed Curry, Basic Black, Whisper White
Accessories - Basic Black Thick Twine, sponge daubers, scrap paper (to mask a portion of cardstock)
