Primrose Gift Box

I've wanted to try my hand at two projects that I've seen on the Stampin' Connection website from two very talented crafters.

The first is from Cristena Bagne and her box tutorial.  I used most of her dimensions, but I shortened mine to 6" in height instead of 8.5".  Her tutorial can be found here:

The second is from Erin Mise and her Ornamental Rose tutorial. Her tutorial can be found here:

Stamp Brush Set - Decorative Overlays (Primrose Petals)
Paper - Primrose Petals, Certainly Celery, Whisper White
Ink - through MDS (Primrose Petals)
Accessories - Pinking Hearts Border Punch, Simply Scored Tool, Double-sided sticky tape

Dimensions of box
Primrose Petals - (1) 6x11 - scored w/shim at 2,5,7,10; (1) 5x4 scored at 1" on each edge
Certainly Celery - (2) 3.5x2.5; (2) 3.5x1.5
Whisper White "DSP" - (2) 3.25x2.25; (2) 3.25x1.25
Border - (2) 2x.75; (2) 3x.75

Ornamental Rose
Paper - Pink Pirouette
Ink - Primrose Petals
Accessories - Sponge daubers, Ornament Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Certainly Celery Ribbon, bone folder

Punch approx 40 ornaments, and one scallop circle. After sponging, curl each 'petal' with the bone folder as you assemble the rose. Attach ribbon to bottom.

  1. Oh my word, what a gorgeous box! That flower is absolutely stunning! Fabulous job creating this special design!

  2. Thanks so much for your sweet compliments and I have never been shared on someone else's blog. Thanks again!
