Beautiful Two

 

I LOVED the look of Donna Ross' card with her layering squares and beautiful flowers! I wanted to create a card for my own using the supplies I had. Thanks Donna for your inspiration!

My little brother and his wife's anniversary is in December... so I wanted something with her wedding colors and snowflakes. 

The background is from the Wintry 3D embossing folder set. I didn't have the stitched squares dies, so I used the 'Layering Squares' (the scallops and used my stylus to make them 'pop').

The flowers are stamped in Real Red ink... Just the second layer is stamped off on a scrap piece before stamping on the cardstock to get a softer color. Also the flowers have 'Wink of Stella' on them to make them shine.

I really liked Rosina Carrasco's card (found on Pinterest). I changed a few things to make it my own. Thanks Rosina for your lovely inspiration!

I used my brayer with Craft White ink to make the background piece to 'pop' with the snowflakes. I used the stylus to make the sentiment piece 'pop' stand out. The "moon" is gently inked with 'Wink of Stella' to make it shine.

I loved the simplicity of Mary Fish's card... so adorable! I decided to create one of my own and changed the colors to be more Christmassy! I added a 'Wink of Stella' to the trees to make them shine. The bow was added (non-SU) to the top instead of the side. Wanted it to look more like a wreath or ornament.

These were so easy to put together...although... taking out all those little pieces on the die-cut was time consuming. LOL! Well worth it though!

The background is embossed with the Wintry 3D embossing folder and then brayered (is that a word?) with white Craft ink. The snowflake wreath has 'Wink of Stella' on it to make it shine. I used a stylus for the sentiment piece to make it pop.

Words cannot express how much my best friend means to me! She is a treasure and I'm so lucky to have her. I've wanted to get her something GREAT for Christmas as a Thank You for all she does for me and for others. This is the card I created to go with the Spa Gift Card. 

These are all new Stampin' Up! products that can be purchased in January 2024!

Now, I was a little ambitious and decided to paper-piece the flowers and leaves on the frame! Whew! I a lot of work, but it came out beautifully! My Best Friend is so worth it!

I tried my hand at creating another Fracture Technique card. This one also a masculine card, but with different papers within the fracture background this time. This card is going to my Brother-in-law who plays the keyboard, so its perfect for him!

Farm Friends

 

The 'Peekaboo Farm' stamp set is such a cute set to work with! I decided to go all out on this card for my Grand Niece, Mia (for her 1/2 birthday... as her birthday is really in December, but we will be celebrating it in June each year). Since she will be 1 1/2 on this half birthday... and she's at the stage of saying 'Moo' when she sees a cow... the 'Peekaboo Farm' stamp set was perfect for her.

For the front of the card, I used the 'Give It A Whirl' dies. The animals in each window are the pig, the cow and the ram. The sentiment I used for the front is from the 'Turtle Friends' stamp set.

Now for the inside.... told you I went all out on this card.

I sorta used Lisa's Stamp Studio LLC's idea for the inside... a 'pop-up' card. Not sure how her card closed without part of the 'stone wall' sticking out of the card. So, for mine... I made a few more folds to make them more accordion-style. The sentiments on the inside of the card are from the 'Balloon Adventures' stamp set.

I absolutely LOVE fall/Autumn!!!! Beautiful colors everywhere! So Thankful for fall and for Thanksgiving! I created this card for my family/friends for Thanksgiving (so made 20 cards)!

I used a stylus on the sentiment piece to make it 'pop'. AND... the sentiment is from the 'So Sincere' stamp set. I just placed tape over the words I didn't want then stamped it on Very Vanilla cardstock.

Veterans Day 2023

 

I'm always thankful for the Veteran's in my life, so each year I design a card for Veterans' Day and give it to my Dad, my Father-in-law, my Brother, my Brothers-in-law and a friend. Their service to our country means that I have the freedom that I enjoy now! Thanks to them and all service members that have served!

I used My Memories Suite digital software to create the sentiment... everything else is paper and die-cuts. I did add a touch of 'Wink of Stella' to the stars to make them shine.
