I originally created this page for my cell phone wallpaper, but it turned out so well.... I will be using it on a card too! I had started creating this prior to the Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge (HSSIC128) coming out....we must have been on the same wave-length!
You may view the challenge and all the projects created with it here:
I used My Digital Studio software to create the page, and used Julie LeBlanc's brayering technique to create the softness and texture needed for the water and the light in the lighthouse.
You may view how this technique is done here:
Stamps - The Open Sea (Ship in Basic Black), Decorative Overlays (Starburst in Peach Parfait), Inspired by Nature (grass in Mellow Moss), Torn Edges (Sand in Crumb Cake)
Background - Daffodil Delight
Punches - Various punches to create the lighthouse
Brayering Technique - Water (Marina Mist), Light (Daffodil Delight)
Very Pretty!!! Love the brayering technique!!! Very soft and pretty color combo!!! Thanks for playing along with Hand Stamped Sentiments, Diane
