Hoppy Brew

 

My brother is a beer connoisseur. When I saw another card on Pinterest with the phrase 'Hoppy Birthday' on it, I just knew it'd be perfect for my brother.

I used My Memories Suite digital software to create the words (and lines) and printed it on Basic White Cardstock. I then stamped the beer images from the 'Brewed For You' Stamp set and colored it in using my Stampin' Blends.

I added a 'Wink of Stella" to the beer to make it shine.

Greeting Points

 

Easter had always been my Mom's favorite holiday. When she passed away, we always remember all the little details my Mom did to make Easter so fabulous each and every year! Now that she's gone... the rest of the family has hosted each year. This year it's at my brother and sister-in-law's house (Dan and Tracy). I wanted to create a Thank You card for them expressing my gratitude - BUT wanted to also bring a bit of my Mom with it. She loved roses.... especially pink ones.

My Best Friend LOVES koalas... so I knew I had to purchase the 'Wild & Sweet' stamp set. It's such a lovely detailed stamp. All I needed to do was color in the image using my Stampin' Blends.

I fell in love with Christy Gridley's simple yet elegant card! I just knew I had to create one of my own. I changed a few things up to make it my own.... and to utilize the Two-Tone Flora stamps to go along with the coordinating dies (the same name). Now, I think the card is more suited for a wedding card than a birthday card... but... It'll be a birthday card for my wonderful neighbor and friend.

Let's Brunch

 

My neighbor was trying to find invitations for a brunch that she was having. As there were nothing that she liked in stores, I told her that I would create something for her. She loved these invites and so did her invitees!

I designed them using My Memories digital software and printed them on Basic White cardstock and attached them to an Orchid Oasis card base.

My niece is turning 16! Sweet 16... and growing up so fast! I wanted a feminine look, but also an elegant touch. Cottage Camellia

 

The 'Calming Camellia' stamp set is perfect for making great backgrounds. I used the floral bunch 4 times on my background stamping in the same ink as the cardstock.

The die-cut flowers are from the 'Cottage Flowers' die set.

The sentiment from the 'Calming Camellia' stamp set is die-cut using the 'Potted Succulents' dies (I further enhanced the sentiment piece by scoring around the edges with a stylus within the die.

Brunch Invite

 

My neighbor wanted to hold a brunch at her house and was looking for invitations for the occasion. She was unable to find anything within stores that she went into. I told her that I would be more than happy to create an invitation for her.

This is what I came up with, using My Memories Suite digital software. After printing it on Basic White cardstock, I attached it to a piece of Orchid Oasis cardstock.

Going Tropical

 

I really love how Sue Vine created her background. Its a great backdrop for the flowers and stems and creates dimension. Thanks so much for your inspiration Sue!

To create the background, I stamped the leaves in Versamark... then heat embossed with White Emboss Powder. Once that was done, I used a sponge dauber to gently add Crumb Cake ink to the background around the leaves. I added some sprays of dots using the stamp within the 'Beautifully Happy' stamp set.

The flowers are a blend of two colors - Mango Melody and Polished Pink. After inking the stamp in Mango Melody, I used a sponge dauber to ink just the edges of the stamp to get a blend of colors. I added a Wink of Stella' to each flower to make them shine. The last picture shows a bit of what the flowers look like (although, it looks so much better in person).
