Sweet Blossoms - FTL245

I created these for the Clean & Simple Sketch Challenge (FTL245).  You may view their blog here: http://cleanandsimplestamping.blogspot.com/2013/06/245.html

I liked the sketch so much that I decided to create two cards, with different colors, for both my Grandma's.  The colors are representative of the colors that they like.  I'm so grateful that they are still living (one will be 91 and the other 97!).

That's so much for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp sets - Stippled Blossoms, Sweet Essentials
Paper - Whisper White, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Baked Brown Sugar, Elegant Eggplant, Wisteria Wonder
Ink - Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral, Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant
Accessories - Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dots TIEF, Bitty Banners Framelits, scissors, dimensionals, Stretch Ruffle Trim (Pistachio Pudding), Grosgrain Ribbon (Elegant Eggplant)

  2. Beautiful cards Diane. I love the way you've coloured the 'Sweet Blossoms'. As a novice it would never occur to me to leave part of the petals white! I've a lot to learn and today, you are helping me on my way - thank you very much.

    1. Mary... that's a stamp that creates that effect. It's called "Stippled Blossoms" by Stampin' Up, and you first stamp the lighter color with the first stamp then align the second stamp (using a stamp-a-ma-jig) with a darker color over it.
Thanks for your wonderful comment! =)
