Tropical - MDSM43

I started working on my inside pages for our 2012 photobook.  With the first page (after the cover).... I used a photo(s) from our 2012 Hawaiian Cruise in October, and really liked how it turned out.
I like it so well, that I'm now thinking it needs to become a double page spread (so, not to be used as the first page of my photobook).  It's so wonderful to be working digitally, as I can rearrange pages with just the click of the mouse!!!!

Now with this page, I used a sketch that I found on the MDS Monday blog (MDSM43).  You may view the challenge here: http://mdsmonday.blogspot.com/2013/12/mdsm43-lots-of-layers.html

I will create the second page to this double page spread a bit later in my digital 2012 photobook plans.... I'll post it when I get chance.

Thanks for looking!

  1. Wow Diane, I love the vibrant colors you selected! This just turned out gorgeous. All the tropical elements are just perfect. Those palm trees are one of my favorite stamp brushes. I also really like the way you added the plain colors to make the photos stand out. Awesome!!!
