Some Sailing

What a lovely card that Artisan Designer Narelle Farrugia created with the 'Sailing Home' stamp set and coordinating 'Smooth Sailing' dies. I just had to create one for myself.... changing up a few things to make the card my own.

I used 'Twinkle Twinkle' Designer Series Paper (DSP), as well as, Stone embossing folder for the background.

Moments of Color

 

I saw Jessie Rone's card on Pinterest and kept it within mhy favorites for a long time before I found a stamp set that I could use to make a card that was similar. I found the stamp set in 'Colorful Seasons'. I did have to stamp the branch stamp twice to make it long enough.... as well as, the flower stamp twice.

I used the scallops that went with the coordinating dies - "Seasonal Layers".  The sentiment is from the "Wonderful Moments" stamp set. The background is the "Layered Leaves" embossing folder.

Moments In Nature

I need a lot of masculine cards for July birthdays, so the 'Rooted In Nature' stamp set comes in handy. It's a very woodsy... masculine set. Although, I have made several feminine cards with the set too.

I combined this stamp set with the sentiment from 'Peaceful Moments' set and the DSP from 'Nature's Poem'.

My Dad has just recently made (by hand) 3 Adirondack chairs for his home. So, with that in mind, I found Kathie Durgan's card on pinterest. I figured that I could create something similar.  Thanks Kathie for your inspiration! As you can see... I changed some things to make it my own, but wanted to give credit to Kathie who inspired my card.

I used the color combo of Early Espresso/Dapper Denim/Crushed Curry.

2020 Grad

Our nephew graduated from University High School.

I used the colors Blueberry Bushel and Balmy Blue with black.  The words and embellishments were created using my digital software and printed on Whisper White cardstock.  The commencement hat is a digital embellishment I got online. The words are fonts (Regency and Bradley Hand ITC).

Hoppy Buddies

My sister-in-law loves frogs and the color purple. So, I couldn't resist this cute stamp set - "So Hoppy Together" from Stampin' Up! I paired it with the sentiment from "Bonanza Buddies".

I actually saw a similar card on pinterest that used the little fly stamp around with lines (and dots...although, I chose not to use the dots). It makes for an interesting border.

Leaf Express

I saw similar cards on Pinterest using different colored papers and layouts with the 'Vintage Leaves' stamp set and the 'Woodland Textured' embossing folder together. I loved the combination of the two together.... I just needed to create something with both!

Timeless Numbers

My Uncle reached a milestone today, and turned 70! I wanted a card to reflect his milestone, but be a bit more masculine. When I found Gill Prescott's card on Pinterest.... I knew I could make something similar to honor his special day. Thanks Gill for your inspiration!

Little Trees

 

I was inspired by "Gina K" (Theresa Momber) card which I saw on Pinterest.  I used stamps that I had in order to create a card that was similar, yet... changed many things to make it my own.  Thanks Theresa for your inspiration.

I used the palm tree from the 'Totally Trees' stamp set. I bent the stamps to create a curve on my trunks. The foundation for my trees is from the 'Snow Front' stamp set. The sentiment is from the 'Little Ladybugs' stamp set. 

I used a circle die to create a mask for the sun and used sponge daubers to create the sun.

Sailing High

 

What a cute card (right) from Priscilla's Papercrafts blog (found on Pinterest)! I just needed to create one of my own using the stamps and papers I had to make it my own.

Now, this card did take many different stamp sets to achieve.

Sailing Home for the ships.... along with the coordinating 'Smooth Sailing' dies.

Colorful Seasons for the drink... along with the coordinating 'Seasonal Layers' dies for the chair.

High Tide for the ocean waves.

Artisan Textures for the grains of sand.

Bonanza Buddies for the sentiment.

I used a sponge roller to layer the background color with Coastal Cabana. Then, with the 'High Tide' stamp.... I first inked my stamp, then stamped off on a scrap piece of paper, then stamped onto the cardstock over the roller layer.
