Such a great card by Christy Gridley that I knew I had to try my hand at making something similar with the supplies I had. Thanks Christy for your inspiration.

I used the Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper (DSP) instead of making my own with watercolors.

I used 'Mossy Meadow' and Memento for the trees in the background.

Baby Woodlands

 

My cousins baby shower theme was Woodland Animals, so I wanted to create a woodland scene for my card to her and her husband. I found this lovely kit on My Memories and I purchased it. Such cute papers and animals. I know I'll be using these again and again.
