Lovely Garden

 

I wanted to try the technique of using the blending brushes on this lovely die-cut piece 'Gorgeous Garden' dies. I used the colors of Pretty Peacock, Old Olive and Blackberry Bliss and blended them into the cardstock. Next, I die-cut the intricate die and placed a piece of Basic White behind the card base. I love how it turned out.

I paired the die-cut piece with the 'Lifetime of Love' stamp set for the sentiment, but used the 'Stitched Nested Labels' dies instead of the coordinating ones.

I used a Non-SU ribbon to complete the card.

Seeing Heather Potterton's card, I just knew I had to create one of my own for my niece's birthday. Thanks Heather for your vision using the 'Beautifully Happy' stamp set.

It was lovely to use this set, as you don't need to color in the flowers and leaves by hand. Yep, there is a stamp to color the image in! So this card was an easy one to complete.

My niece loves her cat 'Peaches' and so wanted to create a cat card for her. Upon looking through Pinterest, I came across Jacque Williams' cute card. Thanks for your inspiration Jacque.

I changed the colors and embossed the background to make the card my own, but wanted to share where my vision was inspired.

Corner Flowers

 

Here is my take on Jay Soriano's card... Thanks for your inspiration Jay! I paired the 'Corner in Bloom' Stamp set with the 'Country Flowers' stamp set. I also used the 'Year of Flowers' stamp set for the sentiment.

My Color Combo is Gorgeous Grape, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight (although, the flowers are colored with the Highland Heather Stampin' Blends as there aren't markers in Gorgeous Grape). I added a 'Wink of Stella' the the leaves in the pot to to make them shine, along with the flower attached to the pot.

Tea Room Party

 

My nieces needed a cute card for their friend's birthday party... gifting her with a 'Tea Time' get together with them in the future. I suggested a card in the shape of a tea bag. Such a cute idea for a birthday gift!
