Mermaid Birthday

 

My niece is celebrating her 4th birthday at the Rec Center Swim. Perfect for the mermaid that she is! I found this mermaid girl and scales online and created a card just for her! Happy Birthday Emily!

I fell in love with Linda Bauwin's card using the 'Corner in Bloom' stamp set. She created a frame with the flower stamps in opposite corners, but added a dash-dot line to create the faux frame. She also colored in the frame to emphasize the frame. So Cool! Thanks Linda for your inspiration!

First time using the 'Lovely Arrangements' stamp set and coordinating dies. I paired the stamp set with the 'True Blue Florals' DSP. I used Wink of Stella on the flower to make it shine.

Right Scenes

 

A winter scene for my nephew. The 'Winter Scenes' stamp set is perfect for masculine winter cards. The images don't really require any coloring, but I added a slight touch of color to the images. I also used 'Wink of Stella' on the trees, snowman and the lake.

Such a cute card made by Sue (Designs By Sue). Thanks so much for your inspiration! I used the color combo of Berry Burst, Blueberry Bushel, Crumb Cake and Lost Lagoon. I added a Wink of Stella to the flowers to make them shine. All die cut pieces have dimensionals behind them to make them pop off the card.

Christmas Thanks

 

After Christmas... Thank You's! I had a lovely time creating these. Trying to use up my HUGE supply of Designer Series Paper. These are from the 'Plaid Tidings' pack. Each card is now unique to the person who will be receiving it!

I used the December Flower in the stamp set 'Year of Flowers' for the card, and added a bow (non-SU) to make it more festive.

The banner die is from the 'Party Banner' set! Which I'd love to create more with soon!

I added 'Wink of Stella' to make the flowers and bows shine.
