Journey Rings

 

I loved the look of Wendy Weixler's card using DSP for the background (water). I didn't have that specific paper, so I chose another DSP that would work well. It's from the 'Rings of Love' DSP (Designer Series Paper).

I really like how Melissa Davies laid out the sentiment piece along with the hippo, so I decided to create one of my own. I loved the flowers on the background piece, so I kept that too...just changed the color. Thanks so much for your inspiration Melissa!

Such a lovely flower, the daffodil! My sister-in-law loves them as much as I do! I added a 'Wink of Stella' to the petals of the flower to make them shine.

As my sister and I are twins, I kinda wanted to have some fun with her birthday card this year! I do love hanging out with her, but it's so difficult now that she and I live so far apart. I miss her! These little monkeys bring a smile to my face and remind me of us as kids.... just hanging out with each other. She's my best friend - always - as she's my twin!

The main focal images are all digital art from My Memories Suite! These were perfect for my littlest nieces. I used the ROYGBIV color scheme for the rainbow! =)

Cottage Camellia

 

The 'Calming Camellia' stamp set is perfect for making great backgrounds. I used the floral bunch 4 times on my background stamping in the same ink as the cardstock.

The die-cut flowers are from the 'Cottage Flowers' die set.

The sentiment from the 'Calming Camellia' stamp set is die-cut using the 'Potted Succulents' dies (I further enhanced the sentiment piece by scoring around the edges with a stylus within the die.

Brunch Invite

 

My neighbor wanted to hold a brunch at her house and was looking for invitations for the occasion. She was unable to find anything within stores that she went into. I told her that I would be more than happy to create an invitation for her.

This is what I came up with, using My Memories Suite digital software. After printing it on Basic White cardstock, I attached it to a piece of Orchid Oasis cardstock.
