Gorgeous Turquoise

I decided to try and only utilize one stamp set on a card. The 'Happy Birthday Gorgeous' stamp set has both sentiments and flowers/balloons, so I figured it would be a easy to do.

Here's what I came up with! Gorgeous - right! The flowers are all two-step stamping... with a background part and a front detailed lines. I'm surprised the leaves aren't that way too.

I embossed the background with the 'Layered Leaves' DTIEF. And finished the piece off by using a non-SU ribbon that I had on hand)

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Happy Birthday Gorgeous
Ink - Tempting Turquoise, Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green
Paper - Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White
Accessories - Turquoise Organza Ribbon, Big Shot, Layered Leaves DTIEF

Elephant Shower

What a precious gift to welcome a new baby into the word! My Godson and his fiance are expecting a boy in December. Emily loves elephants, so I incorporated one in my card.

I used my digital software...as I didn't have a cute elephant stamp to utilize. The background "quilt" is an overlay within my software... just add the color behind (which I did with blue). The sentiment is also a digital stamp.

I printed it out on Whisper White cardstock and finished by adding a gray mat with matching ribbon and a blue card base.

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Supplies Used:
My Memories Suite digital software
Embellishments - MM8 Baby (overlay) - MyMem; Happy Spring (elephant) - SyrenaE; WA Blessing (sentiment) - MyMem
Shape - Square (filled w/blue)

Paper - Balmy Blue, Smoky Slate, Whisper White
Embellishments - Smoky Slate Stitched Ribbon

Beautiful Cake

Wow! This card was a lot harder than I thought it would be. I saw the card Stampin' Up! created (right), and wanted to create a similar card for my niece. I first cut the individual cake layers and then stamped the border stamps on them. Hmmm.... it didn't look right.  Upon further inspection of the card here on the right, I see that the strip of icing dots is cut around the dots (icing). So, I created more cake layers and then cut around the icing. What a difference it makes. I've only created 2 cards with this particular stamp set... hopefully, this experience won't hinder making another card with this set! =)

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Beautiful Bouquet, Icing on the Cake
Ink - Memento, Peekaboo Peach
Paper - Mango Melody, So Saffron, Whisper White
Accessories - scissors, Big Shot, Little Numbers Thinlits, Banners Framelits, Perfect Polka Dots TIEF, glue dots, dimensionals

Epic Birthday

My nephew loves shoes... I'm not even sure I know how many he has now. With that in mind, I found this stamp within the 'Epic Celebrations' stamp set. Very appropriate!

I used the Stamparatus to stamp the 'Happy Birthday' stamped background. The sentiment is from the 'Birthday Blossoms' stamp set.

Thanks for looking!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Epic Celebrations, Birthday Blossoms

Meadows Lodge 2018

Mike and I went on a family vacation to a lodge in southern Ohio in July 2018. The Lodge is called Meadows Lodge and its part of the Buffalo Lodging Company in Rockbridge, Ohio. Beautiful log cabins and lodges there. The Meadows Lodge comfortably fit all of our 22 people in our family. We stayed for 4 nights and 3 days... it was wonderful to get together and be with family.

I decided to create a photobook for each family (6 in all), so I kept it simple and focused on the photos. I used my My Memories Suite digital software to create the pages... and used Shutterfly to get them printed (it was cheaper than going through My Memories to get printed, as Shutterfly had a 50% off entire order plus free shipping! Can't beat that!).

There is the actual book, and here are the pages I designed within:

Every Bloom

Some of my cards are CASE(d) cards, which means, I copied and stamped everything the same as someone else. This is the case with this card. I saw "Stampin and Scrappin' with GJ's" on Pinterest and fell in love with the simplicity of the card. Now, I believe she actually CASEd this card from someone else too, but I don't have the info to place here.
So Thank YOU to whoever came up with this lovely design.

Thanks for taking a peek!
