Magic Greetings

Such a cute and simple (and elegant) design from Penni Befir. I saw this on Splitcoaststampers and knew I had to create something similar with the stamps that I had. Thanks Penni for your lovely inspiration!
The snowflakes were added to the background using the 'Snowfall' dies.
The sentiment is from the 'Go To Greetings' stamp set.
The snowman and the snowflakes are all inked in Wink of Stella to make them sparkle.

Thanks for dropping by!

Snowfall Greetings

I saw a similar card on Pinterest using Crumb Cake and White and a tag. I thought I'd try my hand at making one with the stamps, dies, embossing folders that I had. Makes for an elegant card, in my opinion.
The sentiment is from the 'Go To Greetings' stamp set.
The background is from the Wintry 3D embossing folder set. (I just ran it through my Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine twice.)
The 'Tag' is from the 'Seasonal Labels' dies. I just punched a hole in the top center to make it look like a tag.
I used Wink of Stella on the snowflakes to make them shine.

Thanks for dropping by!

Christmas Hoot

For our littlest niece.... she loves to get cards!
A few things to note on this card.... although, the camera didn't pick it up.... I added Crystal Effects to the stamped snowflakes on the focal piece to give them more dimension and I added Wink of Stella to the die-cut snowflakes to make them sparkle! It really adds to the beauty of the card!

The background wooden piece measures 2 x 5.25 inches.
The focal piece measures 2.75 x 2 inches.

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Light Snowfall

I wanted to create a snowflake card that wasn't blue, but sort of silver in color. I had some leftover 'Brushed Silver' cardstock (SU). It does look more gray than silver, but it worked for my card!

For the background, I used a sponge dauber and sponged on Smoky Slate ink for a winter sky background.

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Star of Light
Ink - Smoky Slate, Basic Gray
Paper - Brushed Silver, Whisper White
Accessories - Die-Cut/Emboss Machine, Snowfall dies, glue dots, sponge daubers, silver thread (non-SU), Wink of Stella

Snowflake Greetings

Donna Ross' card was the first card I saw that inspired me to make a card for my own. I also did one with silver and navy. I did tweak the design some to make it my own, by not using the ribbon on the burgundy one.... and adding the Metallic Enamel shapes to both of them.

I heat embossed the silver and gold sentiment on each card.

Thanks for dropping by for a closer look!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Many Merry Messages
Ink - Versamark
Paper - Gold and Silver Foil, Night of Navy, Merry Merlot
Accessories - Big Shot, Snowfall Thinlits, Die Brush, Precision Plate, Metallic Enamel Shapes, Silver Taffeta Ribbon, Glue Dots

Snow Is Falling

Found this lovely card on Pinterest from Ange McKay (who, in turn, got inspiration from Julie G.). Thanks so much for your beautiful creations!  I absolutely LOVE the silver with pink! Just Lovely!

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Snow Is Glistening
Ink - Gray Granite
Paper - Powder Pink, Whisper White, Silver Foil
Accessories - Big Shot, Snowfall Thinlits, Die Brush, Precision Plate, glue dots, Pink Pirouette Taffeta Ribbon

Silver Snow

I really liked the layout of Lynn Dunn's card. However, I didn't like the white on white... as you cannot really see the snow swirl or snowflakes on the card. So, I decided to stamp in Smoky Slate and die cut in silver foil.

The background snowfall stamp is small, so I needed to stamp that twice to get across the top. Also the dots stamp was small too.... and I had to stamp that several times for the background.

Thanks for looking!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Set - Snow Is Glistening
Ink - Smoky Slate
Paper - Whisper White, Whisper White (Thick), Silver Foil
Accessories - Big Shot, Snowfall Thinlits, Die Brush, Precision Plate, glue dots

Patterned Snow

I really like how this card came together. I had yet to use the tree stamp on a card. To me, it was intimidating, because it was in the shape of a tree yet it had snowflakes on it. My thinking was that it shouldn't be green... as snow isn't green. Well, I decided to white emboss the tree on green cardstock! But, then the tree looked a bit plain all white. What a cute way to dress it up with the die-cut snowflakes from the 'Snowfall' thinlits (in red and gold).

The sentiment is from the 'Merry Patterns' stamp set.
