I just love fall colors, so creating this card was such a joy! It's for a wonderful Stampin' Up! friend for her birthday that was in September (so sorry that it was late, but better late then missing it all together!).

Silhouetted Wings - SCCSC157

Okay, so I attempted again to create a card with the Stampin' Connection Card Sketch Challenge (SCCSC157).  I believe this time I've accomplished it! (For those that want to see my creation that was loosely created with this sketch -- See Here!

I struggled a bit to get the background stamp just right.  Using the Stamp-a-ma-jig helped tremendously! =)

Summer Banner - SCCSC156

Happy Tuesday Everyone!  I created this card for my niece using the Stampin Connection Card Sketch Challenge (SCCSC156).

I wanted to use the least amount of layers as possible.  So with my Stamp-a-ma-jig in hand, as well as the masking technique... I think I did it!

I stamped the wire background in Soft Suede, then created a mask (on a scrap piece) to cover it.  I, then, took the Summer Silhouette leaves and stamped them in Lucky Limeade, and followed it by stamping the flowers in Calypso Coral.  I then added the taffeta ribbon along the edge of the background and the leaves, so it hid the rough edges of the stamping.  I finished the card by creating the Itty Bitty Banner and attached it using the dimensionals.

Rather a gloomy, dreary day today (at least it's not snow....right?!).  Working on the Stampin Connection Card Sketch Challenge (SCCSC154), and thought I'd brighten up my day using cheerful colors! I also used the stamp set Summer Silhouettes!!!!!  <--- Now, how's that for thinking warmer, sunny weather! =)
