Tropical Shirt

My husband wears Hawaiian shirt all summer long. We love Hawaii and anything tropical, so its fitting that I create a birthday card with a Hawaiian shirt on it. I used two retired sets from Stampin' Up! 'Tropical Chic' for the leaves and 'Do The Hula' for the Hawaiian shirt and 'The Right Words' for the sentiment.

The color combo used was Garden Green/Lemon Lolly and Soft Sea Foam

Mahalo for taking a peek!

Right Scenes

A winter scene for my nephew. The 'Winter Scenes' stamp set is perfect for masculine winter cards. The images don't really require any coloring, but I added a slight touch of color to the images. I also used 'Wink of Stella' on the trees, snowman and the lake.

I received inspiration from Carol Schuster's card. Thanks Carol!

Changing Words

When I saw this card on Pinterest... I just knew I needed one for myself! Thanks to Stampin' and Scrappin' in GJ blog page and Pinterest for this beauty!

I used the new 'Basic Beige' cardstock and I love it!

I used the scissors on the Crushed Curry leaf... as the die set didn't have one for that leaf. It's wonderful to create great cards with the matching stamp set, die and embossing folders!
