Mother's Day 2025

 

The 'Year of Flowers' stamp set with it's coordinating dies are perfect for Mother's Day! Here I made one for my GodMother, who is a GodMother to me and my twin sister. I also made a card for my best friend's Mom, as she is like a second Mom to me! 

I used only the flowers for my best friend and her sister on that card. And since my GodMother didn't have any children of her own... I placed two of the same flowers for my sister and I.

I added a Wink of Stella to the flowers to make them shine.

Alpine Air Kit

 

In trying to create great masculine cards for the men in my family, I've found the perfect kit for many of them from Stampin' Up! And YES... I love to brag about it!  The new 'Alpine Air Kit' makes card-making so easy! It comes with envelopes, card bases, epherma packs and stamps and ink spot! All you need to make some cards.

Now, I did add Shaded Spruce cardstock to my card (to mat the pieces).

I've added Wink of Stella to the 'ocean', 'sea' or 'lake' area in the picture to make it shine.

The last photo is one I made into a sympathy card. I used the stamp set 'The Right Words' for the sentiment. I added Wink of Stella to the mountains to make them shine.

My brother and his wife's wedding colors were red/white and gold... I chose to make an anniversary card using the colors red/white and black. As their anniversary date is in December.... the perfect embossing folders were used as the background and square pieces.

The sentiment is from the 'Celebrating You' stamp set.

I used Wink of Stella to make the red blooms shine.

Baseball Birthday

 

My Godson loves baseball, so for his birthday I wanted to incorporate that into his card. I found a free clip art of a baseball online through RawPixel. Thanks so much for the free clip art! I designed this DSP - Designer Series Paper of baseballs within My Memories Suite and printed it out on Basic White cardstock. Finished my card using stamps from the 'Celebrating You' stamp set.

Mickey Celebration

 

One of the easiest person to create a card for... my sister-in-law who LOVES Disney! I mean LOVES it so much she goes every year (sometimes even twice a year!). This year is a milestone for her, so (of course) I managed to incorporate that little tidbit in the card I made! LOL!

I added a Wink of Stella to the numbers to make them sparkle.

Celebrating 25

 

My sister and her husband are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary! Wow! Congrats to them!

I wanted to incorporate the silver and white - traditional colors for a 25th wedding celebration.

I used the Brushed Silver cardstock along with Basic White. 

Now, I did combine several die-cuts within the card. I wanted to use the new 'Gorgeous Garden' dies for the background piece. The die is big, so I was able to cut it down to size by adding the 'Rectangle Stitched' dies for a frame. For the sentiment piece, I used the 'Seasonal Labels' die. And Finally, for the numbers, I used the 'Large Numbers' dies.

Your Fern

 

I loved the simplicity of Jo Blackman's card. Thanks Jo for your inspiration. Now... I did change up a few things to make the card my own, but wanted to show where I got my creative juices flowing.

I decided to stamp the Orchid blooms on a separate piece of cardstock instead of overlapping like on Jo's card.  I also added a 'Wink of Stella' to the blooms to make them shine.
