I saw a similar layout on Pinterest and wanted to give it a try. The die-cut piece is only cut on the right-hand side of the image with a Designer Series Paper under the cut image. Such an elegant way to dress up the background on a stamped image. I added a Wink of Stella to the roses to make them shine... I left the other flowers bare.

I found this cute card made by Jeanna Bohanon on Pinterest. I knew I had to create one for my niece that was turning 3! 

I fussy cut all the barn animals... and cut around the 'hooves' so they could "carry" the sign! I also used a stylus to create a deeper indent/groove within the sentiment piece.

I used my computer to print off the sentiment as I wanted it to say "3rd".

About Bones

 

My niece is into dinosaurs (who isn't! lol), so I thought I'd pair the 'Bag of Bones' stamp set with the 'No Bones About It' stamp set. I wish the 'No Bones About It' dinosaur stamps had a coordinating die-cut set, so I could use an embossing folder on the background, but the background looks fine plain too.

I really liked Rosina Carrasco's card (found on Pinterest). I changed a few things to make it my own. Thanks Rosina for your lovely inspiration!

I used my brayer with Craft White ink to make the background piece to 'pop' with the snowflakes. I used the stylus to make the sentiment piece 'pop' stand out. The "moon" is gently inked with 'Wink of Stella' to make it shine.

These were so easy to put together...although... taking out all those little pieces on the die-cut was time consuming. LOL! Well worth it though!

The background is embossed with the Wintry 3D embossing folder and then brayered (is that a word?) with white Craft ink. The snowflake wreath has 'Wink of Stella' on it to make it shine. I used a stylus for the sentiment piece to make it pop.

Celebrating 25

 

My sister and her husband are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary! Wow! Congrats to them!

I wanted to incorporate the silver and white - traditional colors for a 25th wedding celebration.

I used the Brushed Silver cardstock along with Basic White. 

Now, I did combine several die-cuts within the card. I wanted to use the new 'Gorgeous Garden' dies for the background piece. The die is big, so I was able to cut it down to size by adding the 'Rectangle Stitched' dies for a frame. For the sentiment piece, I used the 'Seasonal Labels' die. And Finally, for the numbers, I used the 'Large Numbers' dies.

I saw a similar card on Pinterest using Crumb Cake and White and a tag. I thought I'd try my hand at making one with the stamps, dies, embossing folders that I had. Makes for an elegant card, in my opinion.

The sentiment is from the 'Go To Greetings' stamp set.

The background is from the Wintry 3D embossing folder set. (I just ran it through my Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine twice.)

The 'Tag' is from the 'Seasonal Labels' dies. I just punched a hole in the top center to make it look like a tag.

I used Wink of Stella on the snowflakes to make them shine.
