My niece is turning 16! Sweet 16... and growing up so fast! I wanted a feminine look, but also an elegant touch. I believe I achieved that with the 'Bloom & Grow' stamp set and its coordinating 'Budding Blooms' dies. I paired it with the 'Go To Greetings' stamp set for the sentiment and my personal favorite, 'Tasteful Labels' dies.

Seasonal Bloom

 

I just love the 'Bloom and Grow' stamp set! The flowers are huge and can be colored in many different ways to suit your needs. Although the set IS retired... I do keep coming back to it. I wanted a cheerful thank-you card to give to my friend who is so thoughtful. She has given me a few gifts that were 'Just Because' - so sweet! 

The color combo used here is Mango Melody, Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green and Cinnamon Cider. Perfect for fall. I added a 'Wink of Stella' to the flowers to make them shine.

Layered Blooms

 

I totally fell in love with JanBCards' layout and card, so I had to create one of my own! I changed a few things on my card, but JanBCards had the inspiration! Thanks!

The background is the 'Layered Leaves' embossing folder. I matted the sentiment piece to make it stand out a bit from the background. I colored in the images using Stampin' Blends (Granny Apple Green, Blackberry Bliss, Seaside Spray and Poppy Parade). I added a touch of 'Wink of Stella' to the berries and flower petals to make them shine.

Vibrant Bands

 

I so wanted to utilize the sentiment stamp in the 'Bloom & Grow' stamp set. The flower sprays that came with it were too huge for my card orientation, so I had to find a smaller image. In comes the 'Vibrant Vases' stamp set.... I stamped three on a piece of Basic White, colored them in and fussy cut them with scissors. Perfect for the orientation of my card.

I wanted to use the other band die that came with the 'Detailed Bands' die set... so it made a subtle background. I added a 'Wink of Stella' to the flowers to make them shine.

Growing Card

We are very fortunate to have wonderful neighbors in our complex. They're friendly and very giving. One good thing about this COVID crisis is that we have gotten to know more neighbors and visit (socially distant, of course!). As they and we are home more. One of our neighbors made 60 - yes 60 zucchini breads. wow! She offered two to us... what a lovely gesture!  It was delicious too!

So, I knew I had to create a thank-you card for her. She's always doing so much for herself and her family... and now us neighbors.

I paired the Detailed Bands dies with the 'Bloom & Grow' stamp set. It came together quickly. The sentiment is from the 'Here's A Card'.

Growing Blooms

I really like the new 'Bloom & Glow' stamp set. Utilizing the Stampin' Blends markers makes coloring them easy! Although, trying to figure out which colors to combine is a challenge. Just think of the many variations of colors to use on this card!

I went with Purple Posy, Highland Heather, Petal Pink, Real Red and Mossy Meadow.

I stamped the sentiment first on a 3.75"x 5" whisper white cardstock. Then masking the sentiment with a scrap piece of paper.... I stamped the floral spray on the top and bottom of the sentiment. I kept the mask on when I colored the images. I found that the Stampin' Blends do bleed a bit, so it wasn't a crisp line. BUT.... that wasn't a problem for me, as I covered it up with the Real Red Ribbon.

Grow Gorgeous

Trying out the new 'Bloom & Grow' stamp set with it's coordinating 'Budding Blooms' dies from Stampin' Up!. I wanted to create a fall-ish card, so I used Stampin' Blends markers in fall hues to color in my image.

Even though the die shape is supposed to cut this whole flower spray... I was able to only cut the bottom half, by carefully feeding the paper and die through my die-cut/emboss machine (I stopped halfway, so it wouldn't cut all the way through). There was a few tiny areas where I had to use scissors to cut. Looks beautiful along the 'Wood Textures' designer series paper (DSP).
