Scripted Blue

 

I started playing with the 'Beautiful Blues' kit... and I just love the intricate die-cut piece within in the kit. I wanted to create an anniversary card for my sister and her husband... and I felt it was perfect for them.

Such a simple yet elegant card, in my opinion. I added a sentiment from the 'Sweetly Scripted' stamp set and Silver & White Ribbon to finish it off.

I found Amy Koenders card on facebook and knew I'd be making something similar one day. Well, today's the day! I changed many things on my card to make it my own, but wanted to share where I got my inspiration! Thanks Amy!

I used the 'Sweetly Scripted' stamp set for the sentiment. The papers are from the 'Nature's Poem' Designer Series Paper pack. The circle die is from the 'Spotlight on Nature' dies.

I chose the colors Boho Blue and Cherry Cobblerto go along with the 'All About Autumn' DSP wood paper that you see here. I added a Wink of Stella to the flowers to make them shine.

Scripted Tools

 

I love this set... its so perfect for all the men in my life (and for some of the women in my life too!).

I wanted to make all the tools to match, so I used a Stampin' Blends marker (Pecan Pie) to color on top of the Gray Granite cardstock to create the two-tone tools you see here.

For my handsome husband! Congrats to 22 years! Wow... has time flown by! Our love continues to grow. I love you so very much! Happy Anniversary!

Scripted Beauty

 

I tend to gravitate to the same SU colors that I've always used. So... with this card... I wanted to try using Lemon Lolly on a card. With that... I was able to also utilize the Boho Blue and Lemon Lime Twist. Such a pretty color combination... perfect for a May card.

For the background piece, I stamped Craft White ink on the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder to create a white-washed effect on the "bark".

I used Wink of Stella on the petals to make them shine.
